chinese banks see Inter as a very valuable asset and Suning could convince the bank for give them more loans?
Highly unlikely..... also sunings market ca is still some 3 bio and it s majority share holder is alibaba i think they have better collateral than inter.
Also as of now the CCP is deciding the fate of Suning and i doubt they care about the 1bio

I was reading the news this morning, seems that Redbird has requested a €600M loan with a 15% interest to Elliot to buy Bbilan.
This doesn't look any good to me, we are speaking of €90M per year that Redbird must pay to Elliot while the loan is active.
Honestly, I cant figure out which club is more broken in Serie A, Inter has lots of problems and a €120M debt, Juve just added €400M to level the losses, Bbilan has new owners that made huge debt to buy the club and other clubs are too small and financially weak to invest.
This is going to be ridiculous, with EPL clubs that are way richer than rest of Europe, except PSG, UCL is going to lose interest, on the long term this is a losing strategy for UEFA.
They must find a way, a REAL way, to keep the balance between different leagues, otherwise people will find something else to do than watching football very quickly.
In Italy, young generation had lost interest in football, and you can see it looking at how our national team is performing, failing to qualify for the World Cup for the second time in a row, while winning it four times in the past.

MEH Redbird has 6bio under mgm it s not like they could not pay off elliot if they wanted/needed to, also if the loan is on redbird like you claim it wont affect BBilans books. I d be slightly worried if the debt was only on FSG but i doubt it will be.
Also consider that most of the redbird holdings are not liquid and these companies usually dont have 1bio plus lying around in cash so in order to close the deal the financing had to come from somewhere..
Not saying 15% interest sounds good....

Don't have one.

Superleague was the way, but people didn't want it coz it was not "fair".

Well this is fairness I guess, all money going to premier league, and totally deserved as well, they actually have an attractive product. And in a few years you will have such a stark contrast in quality between the leagues that superleague will look like a communist utopia.

What's the alternative? It's better to get yourself into position to get screwed a little bit than to be completely out of the picture with zero money.

Let me tell you the one alternative. Italians getting their shit together and starting the revolution, just like english did 30yrs ago. I'm talking new stadiums, sponsors, whole package. Yeah, exactly:lol:

So the point is, I hope people will enjoy this fairness and meritocracy coz this is exactly how it looks like in real life. 90 percent of profit going to one super competent, exciting product, everyone else gets scraps.

Super league wouldn't change much tbh. We would be even more overpowered than now in Serie A with other Super league clubs, but other than that, too much wouldn't change.

I agree, the alternatives arent great atm, but I'm not personally willing to compromise on the very nature of sport for the sake of money to the extent the superleague was asking for.

The thing is - the way the CL is structured, as long as Italy remains a top 3/4 european country, we'll always be in a reasonable position. CL revenues spread quite well, and there's a lot of money to be made (just look at Milan who are likely to be profitable this season). Yes, there's wider systematic issues that need fixing in order to solve everything, but the benefit of having the CL means that investing in non-premiership clubs can still access some of the same revenues that make Real/City/Liverpool/etc so successful.

There's a certain point of arbitrage where Italy can never fall *that far* behind - of course it needs to stay as a top 3? top 4? european country in the rankings, but still, I think it should do for now

superleague spread the money a bit but you'd still end up with the italians getting screwed because of the guaranteed money pools...
Not Italians in general. Only Inter and Milan. Juve would get the same with top EPL and La Liga clubs.

IIRC they were still behind the La Liga clubs.

Either way, the mechanism is stupid and we'd still be second tier citizens, just this time contractually so rather than contextually.

It’s not impossible to have good finance and have good team.

With Suning we started pretty well and they double our revenue. But Kondogbia, Joao Mario, Gabigol, Radja, Lazaro, Dalbert… and with couple years with covid we are where we are. I’m not sure what Suning plan is as they haven’t really told us much? They spoke about making Inter financially self sustainable and it’s clear we are still far away of that (120m loss/year).

Milan have that €81,960,000 annual payroll and we have €140,120,000, that is ~60m difference and we have now almost double wages compared to Milan. They still kicked our asses!

Of course Caseido, Vidal, Vecino, Sanchez, Kolarov, Perisic, Rano leaving will help us greatly, but also Correa, Dzeko, De Vrij are still on big wages are not performing that well for that money and need leave asap! Maybe loan or some swap deal can happen with Correa or De Vrij? I don’t have anything against free older players with higher wages, if they perform and are useful? But someone like Lukaku transfer should not happen in our financial situation. We need to invest smart/low risk. That would be loaning players and actually see how they perform and get some free agents and promote youth players. We have player like Gags whos minutes should be given to some youth player!

What comes to Super league, I would rather be poor and still have a chance to fight for Scudetto or coppa than have some money and never again win anyhing!

I think with the new ownership that has changed..I'm not sure but it seems like they've had a leveraged buy out, which sucks for them! Iirc there was news that they had to borrow money from Elliott to buy Milan, which is hilarious. One can only hope for Li Yonghong 2.0

Li yongh team were amateurs, these Americans own many successful sport enterprises and are well known for excellent financial management.

Milan can be super strong with 100M€ investment imo. Get De Ketelaere and Lang from Brugge and buy Botman. All 3 with excellent stats, De Ketelaere will be new DeBruyne . Also Adli, Pobega Renato coming for midfield.

I think, alternative and only way to make equal clubs, will be salary cap. Something like in NBA. Otherwise, every year will be bigger diference between PL clubs, Real, Bayern, PSG and the rest clubs from other countries.
