Yeh thats what i mean - HOW TF do they get that much revenue? Your average person on the street would have heard of quite a few teams before them. It amazes me they are so big. Surely they cant have THAT many glory-hunter/tourist fans? Thats Man Utd/Barcelona/PSG!
PSG? Wtf lol

The causal fans in my area are only aware of Real, Barca and ManU, with a smattering of ManCity. When people ask me who I support "Inter" . I have explain the Italian league....:palm:

I guess it the area I'm in and the websites i read. Madrid seem to avoid negative coverage/hype so I dont see much on them and also dont see many Madrid shirts around, even when I'm in London (compared to the other 3 clubs i mentioned).
Going to Madrid in June so imagine i'll see a few more there ;)

Serie A is non-existent.

EPL, Barca and Real Madrid will continue to be the general public eye around the world.

I do question if Barca will remain there, If they didnt sign Ronaldinho, Pep, Messi and now Yamal. I think they would have fell off the earth too, lucky to have generational talent every era from 2005.

Barca gives youth a shot..... we just gave Di Marco one and many people here didnt want that to happen because Persic fuckd us over. We had Bonucci and didnt give him a shot either. I mean if we going to spend what we do on a youth team..... give them a fking chance

Love the amount of money we are rumored to pay for random players in the argie league.... just buy a fking club. Send our 19 year olds there and see how they do. We are so quick to be like hey that other teams 19 year old looks dreamy..... here is our best 19 year old + money. Tho we are just going to send your out on loan any way. We had a top prospect from Argentina what did we do? Sent him to loan in France..... they broke him...... we made 0 money instead of having a better bench option. We knew the French were never going to give us 30m for him

also fking scout !!! and outside of Brazil/Argentina. We just had the U20 South American qualifiers. You could probably buy the whole Ecuadorain or Colombian team for the price of the striker of Brazil/Argentinas which the Colombian one was the top scorer. I like we look at Croatia and other smaller euro countries but do that in South America. Like was should have gone for Kendry Paez of Ecuador dude is 17 has 17 caps for his Senior NT and is the U20 captain !!! Going to be a generational talent. Fine he went to Chelsea but these are the type of guys to go for. If he was Brazilian he would have cost 15x more but no I just read hey lets get X random player from X random team in Argentina for more money...... and hope for the best.

"just buy a football club"

you've been present here with all our financial strife, and you would rather buy a football club to send players there instead of, I don't know, maybe build a new stadium? We could spend more for players if we had more revenue coming in. Buying another football club is viable when you have everything else in order.

Yes, it sucks that we couldn't keep all of our promising young players, but that holds for everybody, even Barcelona. Their school overall develops more promising youth players compared to Inter too. Everybody makes "mistakes" when they sell their youth players. It's normal in football, you can't know how good the player will develop or if he'll take it seriously enough, just look at Balotelli.

I'm sure we are scouting all over the place - look at Bisseck, he was playing in the Danish league. You have to understand that there's a holy fuck of clubs looking to snatch promising players - Chelsea, Ajax, Real Betis, Girona, RB Leipzig, PSG just to name a few of the big ones.

At least we aren't selling every promising young player we have, we send them on loan. I would like us to use youth wingbacks and have a 4th striker from our youth ranks and that just might happen soon. I don't need us to have only youth players on bench, that wouldn't work.

The U23 club will help a lot.

What’s this shit going on over on reddit about us falsifying debt/income or some shit? I guess a tv show did some deep dive into our finances.

I should note most people are shitting on the report but that it’s peaked enough interest that those in charge are trying to get the names of anonymous club employees to investigate further.

This is straight nonsense. Specifically this bit.

A few years ago, an independent analyst in London noticed discrepancies in Inter's books. He claimed that the clubs' sponsors were companies with connections to Suning and not independent actors. They paid big amounts of money upfront which doesn't follow normal rules around sponsorships

*When he went public with these accusations, Inter suspiciously dumped all the sponsors. This directly lead to Steven Zhang having to take out a €360M loan from Oaktree in order to keep the club afloat. When Zhang couldn't repay the loan by May 2024 Oaktree took control of the club as collateral

Take a look around. Jeep was the primary sponsor of Juventus for years. Saputo, Bologna. Mapei, Sassuolo. Mediacom, Fiorentina. The list goes on. There's also no rules against this.

The sponsors terminating having nothing to do with this report. It was the result of capital flow laws coming out of China that prevented Zhang from spending any more money on the club.

Some of it is factual and even I said as much at the time e.g. likely linked sponsors. But if we deserve investigation over it, Juve and Sass go straight to getting butt fucked in jail

I don't think you can force bankruptcy just because someone has high debt. You do it when they can't meet their obligations. We've successfully met our obligations because of things like Oaktree loan.

As AD says, the sponsorship termination was capital controls. Infact it caused some pain in the ass for us at one time maybe 100m euros of promised sponsorship money hadn't been paid and forced us to take losses. I think some but not all was ultimately recovered.

And we had to write off sponsorship deals worth a lot of money, AFAIK like tens of millions. So they were booked as income, and eventually money never arrived so they had to be written off.

Just like we had to do with Digitalbits BS.

LOL as many have pointed out this is just a huge bunch of BS and anybody with a bit off accounting knowledge can tell you... Like what the fuck is that debt line supposed to mean it should have led to bankruptcy they obviously dont know what bankruptcy is and how it normally goes...

Even the thing with the sponsors since when is it forbidden to have associated sponsors a whole lot of clubs would be in deep shit if that was the case. Also paying a sponsorship up front would not be considered fraudulent as long as you handle it correctly in the books....
As many have pointed out the non payment of our sponsors had more to do with CCP capital controles than anything else... and again as long as we did not lie about it in our finances there is no fucken problem. Those fucken Crypto bros also eded up not paying us was that fraudulent too?

I fucken despise the time we re living in any fucken idiot with an agenda and 0 knowledge of any topic can go online write some utter BS on said tpic and a bunch of idiots with the same agenda will go wow you so smart and then try to make what is absolute normal sound like a huge scandal.
