Li yongh team were amateurs, these Americans own many successful sport enterprises and are well known for excellent financial management.

Milan can be super strong with 100M€ investment imo. Get De Ketelaere and Lang from Brugge and buy Botman. All 3 with excellent stats, De Ketelaere will be new DeBruyne . Also Adli, Pobega Renato coming for midfield.
Inter should win Scudetto by 10 points more than ACM. But, they were lucky, and we screw up. Inter has much better players, and with that squad, we should walk thru season. I blame Inzaghi for not winning.

I am Inter fan, but not from Italy. Can somebody explain to me: what is duty of Zanetti as vice president? Does he has any responsibility of transfer players, salary, who come-go to Inter..? I mean, what is he doing on daily basis?
I ask my self the same question. Like does he do anything useful other than just existing ? Does he talk to players before signing them to persuade them or something? I mean zanetti has a huge pull

I wonder what he does too 🤦🏼‍♂️

Not sure i agree with this.

Milan are obviously a tough one because they lose players on a free and they mostly replace them rather than truly reinforcing the team so any opinion would be subjective. But for me their balance is positive. They lost Donnarumma and Hakan on a free but they spent 80m on Tomori's redemption, Maignan, Tonali, Giroud, Florenzi, Messias and some young prospects they signed. Maignan isn't as talented as Donnarumma but he's a good GK. Tonali was excellent business and their season revelation, along with Kalulu. Giroud was crucial in their Scudetto while Mandzukic had offered absolutely nothing. We don't know what new owners plan to do but under Elliott the plan was replacing Kessie with Renato Sanches and Romagnoli with Botman. This doesn't look bad at all in my eyes.

Juve may have lost Ronaldo last summer and Dybala this summer but they have spent 180m since last summer and they'll probably spend even more this one. They're already close to Pogba and Di Maria and they're linked with Kostic, Raspadori, Jorginho, Muriel and Udogie who are all tied with contracts. They underperformed last season but in terms of squad quality they have really improved.

On the other hand, Inter have lost competitive advantage they had after Scudetto. They lost Hakimi and Lukaku and replaced them with lesser players (also lost the coach but i don't want to turn this into Conte vs Inzaghi) and the trend will probably be similar with more core players this summer. When ownership demands substantial profit from mercato every summer then this can only lead to club's downsizing. Even the best management could only slow down the process.
With all due respect. I stopped reading after Maignon not as talented as Donna.. man is worldclass among top 5 in the world easily

Maybe its because i never rated donna. He always was a mistake waiting to happen with poor foot work

I think, alternative and only way to make equal clubs, will be salary cap. Something like in NBA. Otherwise, every year will be bigger diference between PL clubs, Real, Bayern, PSG and the rest clubs from other countries.
Impossible. NBA is played in one country with one set of laws. European football is played across many nations and not all of them are part of the eu. There is no way any of the leagues accept a European wide salary cap.

He is not a transfer director. Zanetti's main role is promoting the club around the world. You will see him at lots of the social initiatives.

We have beppe and ausilio + baccin for the transfer division.

He's the reason why we got Lautaro and he's probably part of the reason why he hasn't left. He's likely been sent in to close Dybala too.

I wonder if there's a situation where all of our players turn down offers and that kind of forces Suning's hand to sell?

Apparently Bastoni, Lautaro have now turned down offers, I imagine Skriniar would too, Brozovic wouldnt have signed the new contract if he didnt want to stay..

We might have to stretch with Pina+Dumfries or something... but it may also help to force Suning's hand if we dont hit the 60mil plusvalenza

There was no offence with my question, regarding Javier. But, it will be great sin, that he only seat in the club, goes to matches... He is person with integrity, big experience, and if Inter can not use him to be role model for new players, that is bad. Also, he must be Ambassador for club. Much more exposed to public.

Never said he didn't assist where he can help. But his main role is with promotional and diplomatic work. Like always been the case even as player he prefers just to work instead of being the one in the spotlight.

Lol

They'd stop paying the bills and force the players out anyway. You cannot win against these fuckers!

I always though Zanetti is here to be some kind of link (soft buffer)between board, coach team, players and their agents… He is a well known likeable guy and is easy to approach, if there are good or bad things in the club? He is that familiar face in the headquarters and training ground and knows club well and help new guys to settle…

Or tell current guys to just leave for Spurs?

That's effectively what Zhangs want at this point. Marotta and co are just henchmen for them. But I think they are pushing the player(s) out too. Players just need to resist. Bastoni signed a new deal fucking year ago.

Are you sure? I'm thinking that Zhang is setting the goal which is 60m plusvalenza. He doesn't natter Marotta and co gets it as long as he gets that 60m. As a few have pointed here it doesn't take a genius ceo to get those 60m by selling Bastoni, lets not forget Marotta makes about 6m a year, he better start justifying that salary.

I've said it a year ago and I'll say it again. Its hard to care about what happens on the field when what happens financially regarding the club and the league is of so much more importance. Still no stadium in sight and the TV rights of the league will continue to stagnate due to the lack of star power of both the clubs and the players.

So how do loans get calculated on this 60m plusvalenza/profit, as I assume once again most of our garbage will be sent out on loan and not permanently sold this window.

For example, if Pinamonti goes out on loan that ends in a permanent transfer would that be on the books for this year or next? Will that free up some money for transfers this summer or next?

If you loan out Pinamonti with an obligation to buy, it's plusvalenza booked in whatever year the transaction is finalized. If we sell Pinamonti to Fiorentina on a loan with an obligation on June 30, it's recorded in this fiscal year and chips away at the 60M requirement. If the transfer is finalized July 1, it counts towards next year. If it's a loan with an option, there's no impact until we know whether the loan will be exercised.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Suning will remain a sponsor at Pinetina for 2022/23 but at lower figures compared to 16m in 2021/22.
