he's a complete beast, and as i said, even out of all the good young players we have, a few of us think he's the best one. Italy U-17 regular and I think he'll debut before he hits 17/18.

Because its a sure-fire loss. We'll end up spending 10mil, 15 mil to get him back when he's 20. I dont mind loaning/co-owning youth players who need to develop and might/might not make it as a top player, but if theres anyone in our primavera I would bet 100% on, it is bonazzoli

Well he hasn't played for our primavera yet so u haven't miss him .

Anyway the hype on this guy and actually the steps he has made are huge . Although he failed miserably with italy in the european a month ago. Probably it's the way italy organizes teamplay that made him look so bad. Anyway he and opoku are our 2 best talents in the entire youth system and it's fucking foolish to sell his half before he has made his primavera debut.

They must be addicted to these co-owning deals. They just can't seem to make a deal without giving up half of someone and its fucking maddening. You just know these deals will bite them in the ass a few years down the road when the player starts developing nicely and they finally realize that they have fucked up hardcore. Why is it so hard to spend an extra couple millions to close out a deal instead of giving up half of a player and having to pay 4-5x that amount in the future to get back the other half? but at the same time, the stars of next year have to be born somewhere, and the fact that bonazzoli is a STAR player in the U-17 league and Italy U-17, AND only 15, says a lot.

I dont disagree. But what is true is that yesteryear's beretti are this year's primavera.

Its not like he WONT make 18... its just a question of how good he will be when he does. And I think he will be among the best. He's doing things Balotelli didnt do in our youth level.. And if I had to bet on anyone on the primavera doing the next balotelli, it would be him. I think that feeling is true for a few of us too.

A co ownership in this case is much better than an outright sale. I think the only negative would be that we get to keep that fuck face Silvestre and probably the initial rumored price. Apart from Palacio I wish we had one more experienced striker to carry these kids along, but Milito is injured and our priority signings haven't been made so I guess we're betting on them. I don't know, I don't see that big a player in Bonnazoli's future. He's good and would be a solid pro tho. I'm still in the opinion our best talent is Taufer followed by Opoku, by the bits I've got to see of those 3 players (although granted not enough and as much as I'd like to due to the lack of availability to their games)

Although that doesn't change the fact giving up 50% of him right now would be silly regardless. He's still one of our most talented prospects in the academy, still very young and could develop. What kind of message is that to give 50% of one of your most talented academy prospects in such an early age, as minor makeweight in a deal?
