According to French media, FIGC are trying to convince Rayan Cherki to choose Italy over France or Algeria. Cherki was born in Lyon from Algerian parents but his father is of Italian descent. Cherki's grandfather was from Puglia.

Plenty of missing key players, players out of position, Bastoni making silly mistakes , Spalletti always been a 4atb man now plays 3atb.

Bastoni should have got a yellow , now he's playing in return leg. There's still chances, both teams with substitutes, but still it was pretty even match.

Germany's loading with talent. Bisseck, Stiller, Undav didn't even stand up from the bench. These 3 players would walk into Azzurri lineup.
