I'd actually poach Martella and Faraoni from Crotone to serve the backup roles. Martella is a decent attacking full back, good enough for 5-10 games in Italy and Faraoni can play the whole right flank and will also help with the club quotas.

Pioli chocking again. Should have pushed Milan to EL qualification rounds.

So, basically every result went the opposite way I wanted. Crotone are gone, Chievo survive for at least one more season of miserable existence in Serie A. And of course, SPAL, Udinese, Cagliari and Milan all won.

Crotone Coach Water Zenga feels like he is ‘dead’ after his side’s relegation to Serie B was confirmed this afternoon.

The Pitagorici needed to take something from their match at Napoli and hope at least one of SPAL, Chievo, Cagliari and Udinese slipped up in order to survive.

However, wins for all four of their rivals meant that their 2-1 defeat at the San Paolo was ultimately rendered meaningless.

“I thank our fans who applauded us until the end,” a distraught Zenga reacted post-match.

“At the moment, it feels like I am dead. I am sorry for Crotoneand for the people of Crotone.

“We are a small club, but there is great enthusiasm and passion here.

“In the end, we had a difficult schedule and the other teams were better than us.

“Right now it feels like I have been stabbed with a knife.

“I really struggled to get our players up from the pitch. They have shown they are capable of staying in Serie A.

“But we need to congratulate our rivals.”

Crotone’s relegation sees them join Verona and Benevento in the second tier next term and brings to an end their two-year stint in the top-flight.

I'm going to say it, Sergej Milinkovic Savic based on this season is the best football player I have seen in Serie A since Ibra left Milan. What a monster, anyone who's compared him to Pogba or thinks he's the next pogba will be so surprised to find out that they're so wrong. Pogba is no where near as efficient.

Lotito is so pissed atm, DeVrij ..50€M player easily, if you compare him with Dijk. Gone for free! No CL income too. Hes going to squeeze maximum money out of Sergej and I really hope he will say fuck you to Marrotta! Rube thiefs must not sign this dude! He can go to Real or City for all I care, because we sure cannot sign him. But would be a dream.

Maybe we can somehow splash our entire next year's budget on SMS after June. He's so worth it. It's like signing another Skriniar but in midfield.

lottito won't sell if we pay 100m unless SMS himself forces the transfer which I doubt when he has suitors in the pl, bundesliga and french league.

Last year Crotone made an epic effort to stay on top, and succeeded. This year they surpassed their previous points tally and it wasn't enough. Just shows how difficult this season was for all of those involved.

Best season of Italian football in a long time. Lots of entertaining matches, and probably the only major European league whose champion wasn't boringly settled already back in January.

Entertaining season for Serie A. Next season's gonna be even more competitive. The least we can say is that Inter should get closer to the top because of the CL qualification.

Napoli and Roma are pathetic and sad excuses for title contenders. Inter will be the team to unseat Jucentus.

Rube don't need super player transfers when they already bought FIGC and the ref organization

they sign hilarious players you arrange them with a light whisk but they perform well at rube shirt :/

if somehow this scums would start like a bizzarri-lichsteiner-paletta-chiellini-antonelli-bertolacci-pjanic-missiroli-dybala-higuain-maxi lopez eleven they would win matches...

So Spalletti means 10 points. plus for inter and minus for Roma.

what an amazing season... lazio and Inter to the end, to the very last minute.

we failed two matches (also because of the ref), they failed one match and a match point. so it all went down to the dramatic end at the olimpico.

and we conquered our right to play Champions League matches beating our opponent on their turf, with a glorious comeback. so cool.

one day, we will be able to tell: "we were there. and it was the beginning of our new age of glory". well, hopefully. :)
