So... what is gonna happen to the rest of the season? They won't be able to finish it before the Euros... will they just cancel this season??

What the fuck? They rather halt the whole season than play at empty stadiums? Because that's how it's going to be when they keep postponing these matches. Euros are coming so pretty soon there simply are not enough match dates left.

there was a phone call from agnelli to italian Minister for Sport Vincenzo Spadafora three days ago, as corriere della sera reported.

when a country is full of people, even in positions of high responsibility, who would rather stick a burning pole up their own asses than displease agnelli, this is what happens: matches postponed and rescheduled again and again, anything as long as agnelli's interests are not touched.

Well, aside this small-scale opportunistic Rube conspiracy we are witnessing, there is a genuine public health crisis they are dealing with.

I am reminding myself more than anything and I would like Inter to be careful how they deal with this publicly.

yes, and that's why the clubs, us among the others, have accepted to play behind closed doors when it was their turn to do so. no one's made a big fuss about it bar one club.

There is something shady behind this.

It shouldn't be this kind of chaos only because couple games ticket money.

The Lega thought they could exclusively protect Juventus’ finances and interests, strong-arm other clubs play into playing in empty stadiums and pull a quick one on the whole league. Marotta put his foot down, and now they are scrambling.

Refuse to play without fans (as the League’s own precedent decided) and let this season be dead in the water. This is about standing up to outright corruption and tyranny. If they now allow empty stadiums after their plan backfired, their transparent corruption and brushing aside of public health concerns and the sport itself in favor of Agnelli’s 5 milion is that much more obvious.

LOL it was obvious from two weeks ago that well have to finish the league behind closed doors or atleast play large stretches of it behind closed doors if we wanna finish before the euros.

Somehow the lega is surprised now that they re in this mess fucking amateurs. Even the EPL made plans to play behind closed doors in order to finish in time for the euros.

That being said i d hate for the first season in years that is exciting to just be canceled midway through just cause jube are corrupt fucks as if that would change a thing as long as the owners are mafiosi the club will be corrupt no matter what.

In any sane country, Juventus would be playing behind close doors when ordered to or face sanctions.

In a sane world, everything associated with Juve would be behind bars.

It is also postponed because Ronaldo couldn't make it to the game as he is in Portugal with his sick mother.

No Ronaldo, no guaranteed win. So they had to postpone the game :)

Italian prime Minister Conte has said that the government is considering vetoing any public event for the next 30 days, all over the country, not just in the north.

A scientific committee seems to be behind this, as they deem it necessary.

Same could happen to the schools, again all over the country.

That wouldn't necessarily stop the league, as playing behind closed doors would still be possible.

It's even being recommended to avoid shaking hands and kissing.

To be honest, I agree completely with such approach.

because they have 1 game in hand which they would've won and that would put them 1 point ahead of Lazio :einstein:

Actually, no. It's not cause they would win the one game in hand. It's because they were one point ahead by the last time the round where every team had played the same amount of matches (round 17), was finished.

This is, by the way, one hundred percent serious and apparently in the rulebook, and you can be damn sure Juventus would push heavily for it as well.
