Good question, i think they should just keep that rule moving forward for all leagues. I think it makes the 2nd half of games more interesting.

It depends on the differences between starting elevens and benches of the teams. Specially teams like City has huge advantage because their bench is probably top4 team in EPL.

That said, this is the same federation that actively tried to move the biggest derby in the world 24 hours so Juventus were allowed spectators in the midst of a pandemic - you wouldn’t put this sort of blatant favoritism beyond them.
