i think the point is this is our 'hard stretch' - Lazio, Atalanta, Venezia, Milan, Napoli

I'll be ecstatic if we come out of this in 1st place, because the rest of the run in should be comparatively easier.

If we can win tonight that would give a huge boost for SuperCup, then if we win that , we could have unstoppable mentality to survive this hard period of Atalanta match in Bergamo and the rest of Jan&February ( Milano derby, Liverpool etc)

Lets take it step by step. We can do this!

We also have a coppa game or two in this period, plus the Bologna one at the end of February. And we really have no clue if any other games will be postponed, Liverpool and UEFA are pressing us to play this game on a neutral ground and possibly with limited fans at the ground we'll perhaps cave and be disadvantaged (England won't do the same in the return leg).

Cristiano Zanetti (now Venezia's coach) spent 5 years with Inter...I could swore he wasn't on here more than 2-3 seasons.

After that he went to Juventus to play in Serie B and remained with them till 2009 which I also don't remember like at all. Won Coppa with Viola in 1996 and THAT Scudetto with Roma in 2001.
Venezia's coach is Paolo Zanetti. Not the same guy at all.

Raspadori scored a great goal and has a good game so far vs Empoli.... much better prospect than Scamacca.

He slighty took his leg away before contact, it wasnt as brutal as other similar red worthy challenges tbh. Venezia was garbage today, but whats really funny is that teams we totally blast away with Napoli and Milan, Rube chokes against the same teams.

Post match commentary Pioli tried to jinx us, copying Allegri's words of how we're clear favorites blablabaddibliblaa and never mentioning a scudetto for Milan ( as he did before). They try so hard putting us under a microscope so the papers talk only our scudetto to lose never mentioning the players we lost in the summer.

Inzaghi has to take this scudetto.

Scammacca looks so wooden, but his shooting is amazing. He puts so much power in it, despite limited space. Frattesi is a real deal though.

Two tap ins for Scamacca to pad those stats. He has had a nice cameo though. Apparently he and Frattesi just tested negative this morning, hence they missing last match and starting from the bench.

Good game for Raspadori who also gets a brace. The first goal was very good and very important for when it was scored in the game. He also looked very creative today with his through balls. Much better then I’ve seen him recently.

Frattesi just confirms more every time I see him that he’s a must buy. Easily the most ready to contribute of the 3.

Frattesi, Maggiore (Spezia) and Ricci (Empoli) are all on our radar. Same applies with Juventus, Milan and the other clubs of course, so it won't be easy deals. I think they're all valued at 30m by their clubs.

Scamacca seems to be a priority for many clubs, but it may be due to Sassuolo's reluctance to lose Raspadori. But the figure I heard for both was 40m. There seems to be more interest for Scamacca at the moment (Inter, Juventus, Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcaslol) whereas Raspadori was on Inter and Milan's radar only.

Raspadori would be an adequate Sanchez replacement imo. I'd like to see Frattesi and Ricci at Inter, without saying that Maggiore isn't any good but he's the one I've seen the less of.

Ricci looks decent to me but I don’t think he’s ready for a big move yet. He needs another year or two playing regularly in the league.

I also don’t know if I love him in the deep position. He lacks physicality, I see him as more of a CM.

We are more focused on Scamacca because our priorities changed when we sold Lukaku and, most importantly, when we signed Correa for 30m. Coincidentally that was the moment links with Raspadori stopped.

Our priority now is a Dzeko replacement/backup. We already have a Sanchez replacement in Correa. Else what's his purpose in the squad?

He slighty took his leg away before contact, it wasnt as brutal as other similar red worthy challenges tbh. Venezia was garbage today, but whats really funny is that teams we totally blast away with Napoli and Milan, Rube chokes against the same teams.

Inzaghi has to take this scudetto.
It's really entertaining. Milan finished second last season, have the same coach and spent heavily on the market but their target should only be top 4. Juve have the most expensive coach and the most expensive squad but a top 4 finish should be considered a success. On the other hand, Inter lost their coach, 3 starters and spent only a small part of the funds they raised from sales but somehow they're obligated to win Scudetto.
