When Inter play Juventus for points in Serie A, we simply freeze. I liken it to a deer in the headlights. It does not matter how great our form is or where we are in the standings, we simply can not execute and finish the job. The cause is very much historical and psychologocal.

And honestly, I am not saying that to be negative. It is based on fact and if you need convincing, all you need to do is ask when we last won a game in Turin: Stramaccioni 2012. That's close to a decade without a win away from home against them.

Big news for Atalanta and the league as a whole. Sartori has overseen the rise of Atalanta over the last 8 years and their brilliant transfer policy since his appointment in 2014. He similarly worked miracles at Chievo before that, having been appointed as their DT in 1992 and bringing a neighborhood side that was dissolved a year ago to Serie A.

I don't think Atalanta are wrong to choose Gasperini over him (if the reported schism is in fact true), but this may very well mean that Atalanta have lost their spark in the transfer market.

Not really. Sartori is the master at unearthing hidden gem and polishing them. The process requires time while rube cannot wait for players to develop. Furthermore, agnelli prefers marquee signing to immediately compete for title which is an alien concepet to Sartori. Anyway, I still hope rube will not approach Sartori and they sign Leonardo or Woodward instead
