No, they play different positions. Di Maria actually fits better to this Juve than Dybala. Di Maria slots to the right winger position in 4-3-3. He can play with Vlahovic and Chiesa while Dybala honestly can't.
I know, but my point is on the type of transfer. If they are letting Dybala walk away for free, use that freed up space on the wage bill to sign a better winger or at least a more long term solution for a winger than Di Maria. Signing Di Maria is exactly they kind of short term-ism that has led them to this state. And that is even if Di Maria works out - the way he has declined over the last season, it could be even worse.
