They brought back Pobega actually, who plays on the same position.
I would see pobega more as a squad player rather then a kessie replacement. But let's see what he does.

Too early to make any predictions. Let's wait for the end of the mercato first. Things could change in the following weeks.
Agreed. For me predictions after the mercato.

Milan won't even finish top 3. They wont repeat what they did, because they can't. Never have i seen someone get so fucking lucky constantly.
If Suning had a million dollars for each time a statement like this was made on FIF last season, they would be fucking loaded and would have more than enough money to adequately reinforce the squad.

Luck or not, they deserved it and we didn’t. Ultimately, we underestimate them at our own peril, just like we did last season the last 15 minutes of the Derby.

Not saying they are a scrub, but we are definitely stronger than they are as things stand right now. Looking at some people's posts, you'd assume that we have Rocchi and Livaja starting upfront while Milan have Inzaghi and Shevchenko.
We were supposedky stronger last season. Where did that get us?

Milan Scudetto was a Leicester title. Even if they add some pieces, they aren't gonna win shit.
No, it wasn't. The fundamental difference: Leicester title came from nothing. A year prior their title they were completely average. Then instant the title. One time wonder.
Milan on the other hand were already competitive the year prior. Don't forget they were leading the race just before the game against us. They had a bad spell and felt behind. Classic for a very young team. Compare to Leicester, Milan showed an improved curve over time. Their team is here to stay (that doesn't mean the ya cannot have a bad year, but I won't bet on Leicester scenario).

Second place with real 2 point difference, unlike Conte's first season, and 2 titles and as things stand right now we've strengthened our squad bar the LWB but Gosens ain't a scrub either while Milan haven't done fuck all except for signing Origi. What's your point?

That sounds strangely similar to what posters were saying for the majority of last season.

Comparing Milan’s to Leicester’s devalues Leicester’s achievement a lot. It’s not the same.

Yeah, Leicester won fair and square; Bbilan required a lot of calendar fuckery, refs looking the other way when they committed fouls and opponents bending over towards the end.
Did you watch Leicester season that something similar didn't happen there? (and as you can assume, I consider that statement regarding Milan ridiculous)

What's ridiculous is FIGC making us play against Bologna instead of awarding us 3 points despite the rules being 100% clear in our favor. Giroud's foul on Sanchez not being called is ridiculous. Acerbi pointing to the Bbilan player where to cross and then smiling as he concedes is ridiculous.

As for Leicester, I doubt anything irregular would have happened to benefit a small team. But no, I didn't watch that season so for all I know they Rubentused their way to the title. Seems farfetched to me though.

And yet we couldn’t win the Scudetto with a 5 point lead, game in hand and 1-0 lead in the Derby.

We had ample chances to with the Scudetto and absolutely shit the bed. Prioritising the Liverpool Champions League tie was a huge mistake that essentially led to us losing the Championship.

It hurts, but it is the truth.

This seems like a strange false equivalency to me. The squad Conte inherited was mentally weak and not particularly good. Candreva, D'Ambrosio, and Asamoah were the primary fullbacks. I'm not sure if Conte inherited any benefits from Spalletti. The only thing he had going for him was Suning actually spent money during his first season.

Inzaghi got to reap the benefits of that progress under Conte, including Conte earning us a Pot 1 draw.

Leicester winning the league was less likely than aliens invading earth. Yet somehow it fucking happened against all odds. Milan winning the scudetto wasn’t that crazy. They have some good players. I was more waiting for Pioli to fuck it up more than anything.

That statement was to emphasize that the two points difference from last season was an actual two point difference where we fought until the last matchday, unlike Conte's first where Juve had secured Scudetto in advance and just fucked around. No malice against Conte there.
