Many people underestimated the impact of Kessie in the squad. Pioli was begging for a dynamic box to box all summer but Maldini gave him a Wolfsburg flop and spent 40m on "new De Bruyne"

So far many of their gambles paid off, but yeah, their summer this season was a lot weaker and a few mistakes were made.

We'll see, if I was Milan, I'd still have trust in Pioli. As soon as they also find the next striker after Giroud/Ibra, they'll be top4 guaranteed every season, IMO. I like their squad more than ours, even tho they don't have a Hakan or a Barella type quality in the midfield.

ATM as far as squads go, it's Juve and Napoli, then Milan, and then us. And Napoli and Milan have a far younger collection of players than us and Juve, so I'm afraid how we are gonna look next season.

Milan has 3 superstars. Mike, Theo and Leao. Thats it. We have that already in defense. Onana, Skriniar, Bastoni. They might have overall age better, but there's a reason they got slapped hard in recent derbies.

MIlanisti are all unhappy with Padre Pioli just like we are with Inzaghi. Imo their squad needs a shock right now. A new coach like Tuchel who can guide them to CL final , because he brings a shake up and unpredictability. Pioli right now looks in deep crisis, because the man can't figure out will it be 3atb, 3 man mid, 4231 their Klopp style pressing or something new. And its all on a crunch moment. CL top4 chase and potential CL final run. If you play your cards right with their squad, Napoli and Benfica/us are beatable.

Obv they are not gonna do this risky move .
