De Laurentis never sells unless the player is too old. Don't think he'll start anew with Kvaradona. And doubt he has a release clause.
What about Lavezzi, then another very good player along with him then, dont remember his name.sloakian.. Then,Higuain?

Hope you are right on Kvara though.. if he stays in Serie A.

Lavezzi and Cavani are the only ones ADL sold early. Jorginho was in between as he was sold at 27. Hamsik stayed at Napoli for most of his career and he left late. Higuain was a special case. He had a 100m release clause that Juve paid and ADL could do nothing to prevent it.

We already have suffered 4 losses. This is the entire amount of losses we suffered last season when we sit at 2nd place. We would only have a shot to scudetto if all teams above us crumble collectively while we barely drop any point which is virtually impossible. It really hurts to follow this season when our chance for the league title is razed when the league only has completed 1/4 of its matches. The only consolation is if we can progress far in UCL to alleviate our financial constraint.

Chiesa is returning and he could be probably with the team for their next match against Empoli. I highly doubt he's gonna make the same impact as he was before that long-term injury but you never know. One thing it's certain is that it takes a great character to return at your best from such a situation.

Besides Juve is pretty garbage these days, so I think this is not the ideal environment for him but who cares...

Yeah, Im reading Pogba is in training too.

They ( Lukaku, Pogba, Brozovic) all have important project in their mind. Only making in to World Cup, no rushing in club level, its basically a month away. But they know they need to be in shape too, that = league games, not low pressure trainings.

I think Rube will be stronger in the new year , when Chiesa's mind is more relaxed knowing it can handle tackles and matches and Pogba is in full form too. These 2 were always gonna carry Allegri's ass as they can decide matches on their own.

Yeah, it absolutely sucks but the goal should be to try and secure top 4 as early as possible and hope for the best. With milan and Napoli locks for top 2, between us, lazio, Roma, juve and atalanta it's going to be very tough.

As long as we don't leak goals like at the start of the season, we can slowly reach top4 by January.

Regarding our players and their current mental approach for club football - I imagine there is tenfold more pressure to close the current 8 point gap than there would be to maintain the position if we were top 4 right now. This is the good type of pressure, for once.

It's still to early to write us off or even juventus (but they do seem hopeless), we maybe seem to be far off from catching up but it's only been 10 rounds, there are still 84 points to play for. I'm confident we'll catch up by the time world cup starts, and after WC who knows what will happen.

What gives me hope is that we were roughly this far behind at this point last season. Then we beat Napoli and absolutely flew up the table.

However, I think Top 4 is the realistic goal.

With this long of the season left no one can be written off. But from the eye test we’re going to be battling for top four at best.

The problem is we can't beat top teams. So far we have lost to every top team we have faced. Till World Cup break we have Juve and Atalanta and Napoli is the first match after the break. If we can't win those matches then we need to be absolutely perfect against the rest of the league else even a top 4 will be out of reach.

Problem is we just dont fight in the league like in CL. Play like against Farsa and you'll beat top italian teams.

We've faced top teams before we faced Barcelona. We had completely different attitude in the first Barcelona match. Let's see how we look against Juve and Atalanta before dooming and glooming with the big matches. Last two big matches we've played, we collected 4p in total.

Out of all these, I always fear Juve the most. No matter what, form or problems in coaching and whatever, they still do have quality squad on paper and also a proven coach. Whether they fail to perform at their expectations is another thing.

Both Inter and Juve have better teams than Milan thouigh. Napoli and Atalanta are both doing very well but there is no way that one of them wins Scudetto. It's basically an Arsenal run, like remain at the top for some time and eventually hit the downhill.

Not sure which year it was, during Sarri's time in Napoli while Juve was doing pretty bad and of course Inter and Milan were basically out of race, so it was between Juve and Napoli, and the latter ones were like 10pts ahead and still managed to bottle it. Could be year 2014 or something? I said after that, Napoli will never win Scudetto

We just need to take every match seriously and know the importance of points, and then we will be fine.

You're probably referring to 2015/16 when Juve had made a terrible start after the first 10 matches but then went on an insane winning streak, winning almost all the remaining matches.
