That would be an excellent change. Less games is better and as they keep adding them elsewhere for he bigger clubs, quality of the product needs to kept high this way then.

Would be better for everyone of course as the competition would rise to a new level in the whole league.

If we look at the table now, it's about split in half. Monza as 12th with 29p, fighting for that 6th-7th spot (last euro spot), 5p behind. Lecce as 13th with 24p, are 6p over relegation zone.

I could imagine these races could become even tighter when you remove the worst 2 teams from the league. Specially the relegation race would become so epic in Serie A.

Agree with the reduction in teams. What's this talk of a salary cap, though?

Imagine they still fail to get a win after that. :yao:
On this note, I've put $5 on both Juventus and Milan losing this "weekend".

I've just jinxed myself, but to quote the great Homer Simpson:

"Eh, what are ya gonna do?"

No chance that gobbi doesn't win at home against Udinese. I can see them dropping points against Verona, away from home, but they will most probably win these home matches against Udinese and Frosinone. They will likely smash even Napoli away though.

It's going to be a difficult schedule for gobbi in March. I don't think they can survive it.

Still too early to make such conclusions, but IMHO things will be pretty clear in March regarding Scudetto.

I wanted Inzaghi vs Inzaghi. I would cheer for the former.

Would be nice to see Napoli grab some points from Milan tonight. But this Napoli side isn’t impressive at all:

Probable Napoli XI (3-4-2-1): Gollini; Ostigard, Juan Jesus, Rrahmani; Di Lorenzo, Anguissa, Lobotka, Mazzocchi; Kvara, Politano; Simeone

If Mazzari can make this system clicking, that team is not bad actually.
Di Lorenzo and Mazzocchi are typical WB. Anguissa and Lobotka are the muscles in the middle and Kvara, Simeone and Politano upfront.
It looks good on paper.

They are not bad, but thing is, their morale is very low. In paper they still have a competitive team, but that doesn't mean much when you have off-pitch issues that have been around for a while.

this Napoli team has looked horrible vs the worst teams in the league, so i really have no hopes for them tonight... When you have to play Juan Jesus, you know you're fucked. And no Osimhen means no attacking treats.... Don't think Kvara gonna save them with an Eurogoal this time.
