I defended Mou for a long time but he didn't do anything to impress in the last years. Lost the team in Chelsea and lost the team in Manchester. What he did at Tottenham could have been done from any manager - and same goes for Roma.

Two European finals, yes ... But what I remember most about Roma winning the Coca Cola Cup is that they were favourites on paper in every game and how much they sucked against Bodo Glimt. And that the fans celebrated that cup like the CL. Europa League final ... Okay. But who did Roma beat that you couldn't expect them? And they also showed some disgraceful performances in that "run".

There has never been a real hatred between the two clubs, at least when I've been watching with people who aren't on the internet.

The derby is like playing a game with your brother, but for some reason everyone wants to watch it. If you win, you can gloat for a week.

Juventus, on the other hand...
New age fans unfortunately don't get indulged in a football way the proper way and do things their way. You see this everywhere, not just with international fans.
They base everything on their perspective and ignore all historical context. Video games and social media have corrupted football to a large degree.

Internet fans are even worse because at least if you're in the area you'll eventually succumb to the identity of the club.

I just cannot understand how any Inter fan says he dislikes Milan more than Juventus. Only because their internet fanbase is more annoying. Who cares? Bayern fans are annoying over the internet and 99% cannot point neither Germany nor Munich on a map... The real Bayern fans, at least a bunch that I've met, are great football fans with good perspective. And I say real because we all know that 9/10 of those "internet fans" will jump ship to some PL club or Real Madrid if Bayern doesn't win stuff for 2 years.

The only fanbase that has been diluted so much from this new age that has lost its proper identity is Barcelona. They maximized all the negative complexes they had and kept nothing from what made them a great fanbase 30 years ago... Manchester United etc never had a culture to begin with. It was marketed as a "pity me" club for 40 years ans ever since 2000 it was marketed full stop.

It isn't just Milan internet fanbase. It's their Italian fanbase as well. I know plenty Italian Interisti who live in Milano and hate Milanisti to the core.

Must be a new thing. Having said that, I've never felt older than I am now

But it's so romantic how Milan and gobbi fans tend to flirt with each other against Inter. To me, Milan is the clown meanwhile gobbi is the evil.

I know a few obnoxious younger Milan fans from the city and Lombardia as well.

They're all about the 7 CLs and how much greater Milan is, but they disappear for a week after every derby.
They exist, but they're also a new wave of generation because these guys hardly even attend games despite living nearby.

I know three Milanisti in their 20s who've been to a combined 1 game between them in their lifetime. These guys usually don't even have a Milan family, they just decided as kids to root for Milan and now have to live with that.

The guys in their 40s and 50s I know, who grew up with the great Milan side, aren't like this.

Lecce-Napoli starting in a few mins. Osimhen in the bench. Not sure if that's just rotation from Rudi Garcia to give Simeone some playing time or anything else, but Lecce is quite a difficult task away from home.

Wish i could say the same, but the fans i know and generelly fans in italy are not like that, at least not in this times. And yes i also hate Milan fans more then the other cunts because they have always a disgusting way to overrate their team. A lot of them are still talking after the 5-1, they will always find excuses to say that Milan have a better team and stuff like that, it's pathetic. The tipical milan fans i know are bad loosers when they lose and bad winners when they win. Remember the stupid scudetto celebration, with the whole anti inter shit. Their fan base culture is just wrong and ridiciolous

Hopefully Lazio is gonna use this match as a bounce back opportunity and get themselves into the right track. They've had a poor beginning of season and losing more points would mean shooting themselves in the foot. Immobile in the bench though.

Pretty open game so far. Lazio has a slight edge over Milan

Yeah, in those 30mins, Lazio slightly better but still nothing concrete. They are giving the ball away too easy in the final third. Milan on another note seems to be toothless so far. Leao hasn't been involved at all.

I personally enjoy Inter playing against Milan - fun games and always great banter between the fans. I've been to a derby IRL - the atmosphere was great. When the game was over, blue and red scarves all sat/stood next to each other on the tram.
Ofcourse I'm no Italian and I have no feel for how it's like to be an Italian Interista or Milanista during the year.

Regarding juBe - these are the games I never look forward to. The dislike is just to big.

Lazio could do better on the final third and lead the match, but their decision making was quite poor.
