In retrospect, it ends up being a missed chance (by both teams) for us to have cut into Napoli's deficit when they finally ended up dropping points, but we litigated enough in the match thread that luck was anywhere but on our side today, and despite that we still scraped out a point. Seeing this result now afterwards, we come out no worse off than we entered today.
This is the first time ALL SEASON Napoli has failed to win a game where they held a 2nd half lead. Broken fortress. Could be a one-off, hopefully it'll end up more like in 2019-'20 under Conte where, once we had one game we let slip late, there were more to follow.
Roma played brilliantly today, it's a deserved result. Glad we already got our trip to the Olimpico out of the way.
Lets get even with Napoli on Thursday.
