Well, to be completely honest, these backups were never convincing enough to overtake Mkhi's position in the starting line-up. Not saying that Mkhi hasn't been poor, but players like Asllani and Frattesi are levels below our starting midfielders. Not sure about Zielinski, as he's had flashes of brilliance, but it's not like he was impressive either.
