Some damn club is going to offer dumb money for Chiesa, a player who never plays, and Juve will be able to further reinforce the squad. Sucks seeing them completely fix their club in the matter of weeks.
He played in 33 league games this year.

Can’t wait for the new season too start! It’s gonna be a great race for Scudetto on a hindsight.

Jube will be right up there with a much improved squad. It will be interesting to see how Motta will handle his first job at a topclub. It’s still a question mark if he’s up to the job imo.

Napoli will be a contender too with Conte. They will most probably lose Osimhen, but will use that money too make a squad that Conte likes. It’s going to be a interesting mercato for them.

Will Milan be able to hold on Leao, Maignan and Theo? Will they add some more quality besides Zirkzee? If the answer is yes, they will surely be there too. I don’t really like Fonseca tho. So not really worried about hem yet.

Then there are Atalanta and Roma. With Koopmeiners gone, they will have some capital to inject too. Atalanta have something to build on after a strong finish last season. Roma still has some good quality in that squad, but nowhere near the topteams tho. Will be a dark horse for those CL places tho.

Chiesa did play more Serie A minutes last season than in any since his first with Juventus, but it was still only 65%. Over the past four seasons he has played just 46.6% of League minutes, a figure which even compares unfavourably with Dybala who has played 50.6%.

It seems that Jube will make a significant overhaul this summer. So, I don't expect their team to start clicking immediately. Most probably they will be a main scudetto contender, but for the next season imo.

On paper there are 3, maybe even 4 teams, that could play for the league title. But italy is not EPL. As always there will be only 1 or 2 teams that will figth for the first place. You made a good resume. I expect something from Roma, but they need new players and keep Dybala. De Rossi had an impressive start. And generelly they always had an interessting home statistic in this years. They are closer to the top then we think, but something is missing to get there.

Also curios to see what impact the new CL will make. Without a decent bench youre probably fucked.

Yeah Roma has some serious quality in their squad, but they are also serious lacking something. The quality is too thin.

It’s gonna be interisting to see where Berardi and Chiesa gonna end up imo. Will Berardi fully recover from his injuries? Will Chiesa once stay healthy? Both have some serious skills when fit. And both will end up at one of Milan, Roma, Jube or Napoli I think. And who will replace Osimhen?

Interisting mercato in Italy really. With Napoli, Milan and Jube all able to spend some serious money. Even Atalanta an Roma have some spendingpower.

Roma lost too many players, coz they only had many on loan last season and now don't have money to redeem.

Unlike Napoli, Roma don't have hot products like Kvara or Osimhen to raise funds. Mostly not-so-young mediocres.

I would be very surprised if they'll be higher than 7th next season.

Berardi at Roma would be perfect, with all the injured players they always have

Just gonna point out that the 2024-'25 Serie A begins in two months and the US television rights are still completely unknown. Not even a hint about what's going on with them.

So that's cool.

Reports are Serie A asked Paramount for double the current fee. I like what they're going for, but can't imagine Paramount pays it.

Then again, Paramount has invested a ton into building our their Serie A broadcasts. I'd hate to see them lose it. At least the guys they have care. The BeIn product in the early 2010s was awful.

I don't expect it to happen, but selfishly I'd be fine with ESPN+ getting the rights back just because I already have ESPN+ (in part) to watch the Bundesliga and La Liga...I probably would've bitten the bullet and gone for Paramount+ this next season if they re-upped with Serie A, but they dropped the Brazilian rights and having Italy and Brazil on the same package was why it would've been worth it to me. (Argentine rights too but I'm not really fussed about Argentine football.) I just can't interest myself in Paramount+, which has basically nothing in their inventory that I care about otherwise, for the purposes of one league only, especially because I've generally not heard good things about their product interface either. I'll live with my boat and Jolly Roger out on the water.

(But fair play to them for putting forth an honest effort in their coverage of the league. I'll give them that much. From that perspective, Paramount+ losing Serie A would likely be a net loss for most viewers.)

I honestly doubt Roma will be any sort of threat for top 4, just too many uncertainties, lack of dept and to many of their best with recurring injury problems.

Napoli likely be a top 4 candidate but unlikely to return in the scudetto race just yet, it will take Conte at least a whole year to get them back on track and build a side for the scudetto.

I honestly doubt Milan new coach has what it takes, won’t be surprising to see a Napoli style meltdown next season, also there several of the players they relied heavily on the last few years that might be on the way out and be replaced by big uncertainties.

Juve seem to be really investing and improving the squad capabilities, new coach who yet to try at this level, so perhaps lack the experience over the course of a whole season with tremendous amount of pressure and with a squad that needs to gel. He is very interesting prospect and it’s just a matter of time before he win something major, but perhaps first season might be stretching it… but still see them as nr. 1 threat being juve and all that.

Atalanta is always a dark horse for top 4

In that case, Paramount+ sounds very similar over there to what it is here, mate. It basically has nothing except for South Park, the local football and national team games.

And I find if I want to watch a game on replay, I have to wait 2 days for it to be uploaded. Ridiculous.
