Rube has Conceicao as their only threat, most attacks go through him. Hopefully teams they face will set their defense so his contribution is nullified. He is really good though, we should have a player like him who can beat his man at RWB over Denzel and Darmian.

That's not my point tbh. Only specifically for Conte. That guy is the best coach in league race imo, proven in many clubs. Even with as low quality as midtable the previous season.

Napoli, like his previous teams, aren't grinding results 'only'. They are having the best goal difference too. Please watch them play first then gonna understand why I am worried so early.

The other thing we aren’t really counting for is that 2019 Inter team had not won together yet. The first Scudetto is the hardest mentally because you don’t know if you can do it. We were still chokers.

This Napoli team on the other hand has won a Scudetto recently and they’ve kept a lot team together. They 100% have the mentality to win the league, especially when you add a manager like Conte. Then on top of that make them play once a week when the new CL format has teams playing more matches then ever.

Honestly I’d go as far to say if they don’t win the league they should be very disappointed.

I honestly doubt we can even get one point against this Napoli side in our current state, we lost against a pretty below par Milan, let 4 goals in against a Juve that struggled badly in scoring. Our defence is horrible we are only second because the rest of the pack is even more laughable than we are.

While we score a lot of goals we simply lack the ability to close opposition down and this game doesn’t count as they have the second worst offence in the league, they poses as much danger as a Girl Scout team

He has a 30m release clause, anybody can activate that. Juve doesn't own him to have the first refusal.

Didn’t say Juve being able refuse any deal for him.
For now it’s €45M and Conceicao doesn’t want to accept any deal if suddenly there’s a club paying that during his loan.
It’s €30M from July next year and Juve can deal with Porto to pay that amount before July, seems to be gentle agreement, not option anyway.

They will probably try to negotiate Tjalo as 10M€ down payment ( scored 2 goals this year too) and 20M€ in split transfers over the years or deal similar with that. Giuntoli knows Tjalo was a huge blunder, but he can save face by inserting him in that deal.

Conceicao has surprised me alot. Fairly small and not athletic for a forward, but man he can twist and turn and dribble as you should as winger. Confident and can take responsibility on his shoulders too. Always asks ball. Signs of a strong character.

Come on Gasperinho, show Italy you are finally ready to fight for a title and not piss your usual pants ( talking about Serie A)

I think Rube negotiated first option and verbal agreement to make the transfer next summer, but if he continues his good form price will go up. This is Porto afterall.

He started getting more minutes at the end of last season, but the injury, I think, ruined all of Sima's plans for him. Now, I think he will get a chance soon, as our flanks are not looking very good, with the exception of Dimarco

I think we need to pay more attention to Fiorentina in the league. Palladino had a tough start where Viola struggled a lot but he turned things around and he had an impressive October. Certainly a team to keep an eye on this season.

If we don’t shit the bed against Venezia, this could be a really good weekend for us. Atalanta is obviously a tough one for Napoli, and a flailing Juve have to deal with Udinese.

No hopes for Monza doing us a favour against Milan though.
