Italy beat Norway 1-0 and all the Nerazzurri were starters and played a full 80. Alberto Cerri scored the lone goal.

Netherlands were leading 2-0 over Northern Ireland and I turned off the match centre updates now I went to check how many more they had scored and they end up tying 2-2. Oh the dutch learning to be dutch from the early ages. :palm:

Now Italy have a great chance they have the Netherlands next to end with Northern Ireland.

Italy beats Netherlands 1-0 in the 78th minute with a goal from Alberto Cerri assisted by Federico Dimarco!!

Dimarco, Sciacca, Palazzi and Bonazzoli played full 80.

Norway beat Northern Ireland but Italy only needs to tie with Northern Ireland and they are through to the final stage.

Netherlands and Northern Ireland are out.

Edit: Italy have qualified for the final stage to be held in Slovakia. Just checked an Italian website that covers youth football.

I missed this but Alberto Cerri made his Serie A debut for Parma against Pescara. He has really been the goal source for the U-17.

Also the U-17s adventure start May 5th against Croatia. Their group is pretty tough as they'll have to go against Russia, Croatia and Ukraine.

Italy tied Croatia 0-0 in their 1st match. The only Nerazzuri not to play was Steffé(Who was a new addition for this round) all the others played full 80s.

May 08 Italy goes against Ukraine who lost to Russia 3-0. If Italy can win that game then they'll be in a good position heading to play Russia as they try to advance to the u17 WC.

I think that guy Bonazzoli played very well against Croatia. Italy is one level under Croatia and only luck saved them from a defeat.

Good performance by Di Marco though.

WOW cardiac kidzzzzzzz!!! Italy comes back to win it 1-2 with goals from Parigini 75' and Pugliese 80 +3.

I fucking turn off the stream after Ukraine scored. Stupid me.

I believe they qualify to the U-17 WC with this result.

And I found video on Euro Sport.

BTW I agree with you junior55 on Dimarco having a good performance, the best of the Inter players for me.

I was kind of hard to watch sometimes cause Cerri is a tall dude and all Italy did all game(while I was watching at least) was throw long balls to him all the time. He had some class touches as evidenced in the 2nd goal playing a 1-2 but most of the long balls weren't even near him.

Bonazzoli was a bit disappointing but with the long ball nature of the way Italy played it was kind of hard for him to make an impact.

Italy ties 1-1 with Russia to advance to the semi final.

All the Nerazzurri played the only who didn't start was Steffè who replaced Bonazzoli after 72' minutes.

Italy plays host Slovakia for a place in the final on May 14th.

With goals from Halilović 40 (P), Murić 72 Croatia beat Ukraine 1-2 to advances to the U-17 WC as the 3rd place team.

Yep, saw the game. Italy really impressed me, technically they were fucking awesome. In the passing quality, the dribbles, the controls it was really amazing for guys born in 95-96-97 to perform on that level.

I saw a new face of Bonazzoli I didn't know of, I thought he was a pure finisher but he's technically able too, participated a lot in Italy going forward. I was a bit disappointed with Vido though, described as a future fuoriclasse by Milan fans, he ended up missing alot of chances.

The two midfielders in front of the defense were great as well, especially the captain, great long passes.

Couldn't see the game cause I forgot it was today, I thought it was tomorrow.

Yep Bonazzoli plays more as a 2nd striker for Italy since they have Cerri as a main striker(though he wasn't available for this game) who is a giant for this level. The game I saw against Ukraine, Bonazzoli, while not his best showing, did show good movement.

The captain is Mario Pugliese from Atalanta apparently he's a good prospect, he also scored the winner against Ukraine.

Why are you impressed with some kids fixing a game? They needed 1-1 or higher draw and they easily done it. Sure they have good passing because that was all they have done all game, without any pressure.

Today on 16:00 cet - Slovakia vs Italy, semifinal. The game will be broadcasted in eurosport.

Btw, if you still remember Lazaro who was close to sign for us last year, so he has 3 assists in euro u17 (practically, he assisted every goal of Austria in the tournament).

Italy won today vs slovachia 2-0 to what appears to be the semi-final of the tournement (i don't understand where the fuck were all the other teams) and now will face the winner of the Russia-Sweden in the final.

Di Marco , Palazzi , Steffe and Sciacca played from the start while Bonazzoli entered in the 2nd half .

I had very high hopes about Bonazzoli but he did nothing during this championship.

The guys commenting in Spanish on GolTV in the US really liked Dimarco.

Also liked Pugliese from Atalanta.

Nice play by Bonazzoli to put Cerri through but Cerri couldn't finish it.
