Like the guy a lot despite some of the hate here, players should be able to watch any match they want, gagliardini included.

i wonder if its a sign of him going to milan

i'd have no issue with it. His salary and stuff is expensive, it wouldnt be a regretful loss imho.

haha no dudes just bored.

I think Mourinho will make a move to sign him for sure.

And I'm kind of hopeful it happens. I really don't want to see Perišić play for ACM and I believe he would enjoy playing for Mou. Win-win in my book.

Why would bilan give him 5million salary when they didnt gave the same to Hakan? And why would Perisic go to bilan if they dont raise his salary (I doubt they will give him 6million at his age). Only to play in his favourite position? I think he had some lady to bang with Rebic after the game and thats it, he was bored at home. OR maybe they have a fantasy to bang eachother at the stadium.

Because it'll appear as a PR win if they sign a starting Inter player and one of our most recognizable stars on.
Just like when they signed Vieri because he didn't want to leave the city after Moratti sacked him. He was way past it and completely out of form anyway. They celebrated it like a big win, despit having the upper hand on us till that time. He was our big star for years. (It changed that season ironically)

Yeah, we aint' gonna re-sign Perisic. But most probably he ain't gonna get 5m€ anywhere else than maybe from EPL mid-table side. Better clubs probably won't go for him since I guess his intention is to play as a starter or at least in a role which gives him enough minutes. So he's gonna take a paycut, stay in Italy, go to Germany or then if some EPL club shows interest and good enough project he goes there to collect the big paycheck. And why he isn't going to stay (with a lower pay) ? Because he surely wants to end his career as a left winger/forward, not a wingback.

I don't know where this comes from, but PL mid-table sides do not pay anywhere near those kind of contracts. They have probably only one player that makes something like 3m and he's usually a player they're expecting to sell in the near future, or some leader for years to come. What they have is the luxury to pay a lot of (usually junk) players decent money that is star money for bottom half Serie A or La Liga clubs.

Everton iirc has a lot of players on 2-2.5m deals, but I think only Richarlison exceeds that and it's not much more than 3m annually. Teams like West Ham, Leicester, Wolves and perhaps Leeds have the luxury to have 2 players above 3m, but not very often above 3.5m. Several clubs do not pay more than 2m either. That's because those players should be getting paid at best 1.5m per annum but happily accept a PL contract as it inflates their wallets. Getting a 500k or 1m premium is too much to ignore for some of these guys who can consider themselves lucky to be sought after by top tier teams of any top 8 league.

If Perisic wants 5m and a starting spot in England, he can only find that at Arsenal. I don't think he'd like that very much.

Yeah I guess you are right. It's basically only bench role in a bit bigger club in EPL if he wants to maintain his salary level. And even then it's doubtful any club really would offer him 5m€ net. Maybe for 1-2 years.

Ya'll think any chance he goes home to Croatia and plays for someone like Dinamo Zagreb? Don't know if they could pay him enough for just a thought.

Wouldn't totally shock me to see an MLS team look into him also

Would be nice if he goes to Milan, Juve etc. It might adds more tense to these fixtures.

He would have to take a massive paycut to return to Wolfsburg. He also isn't the type of player Wolfsburg sign. They usually go for young players with potential who can be sold on a profit in the future. The only Bundesliga teams that can afford his salary are Bayern and Dortmund but i can't see either of them going for him.

Imo Perisic future is in Serie A. If he doesn't stay at Inter, he will probably end up at Milan or Roma.

Hajduk Split(Ivan is a massive fan, his childhood dream was playing for them) are trying to bring him, maybe he'll end there. I dont think he cares about salary anymore. We'll see.

I've never liked him and never will. I don't understand why he plays for us, because he doesn't offer anything going forward or defending.

Are you implying that he was never any good for us or is this just about this season?

Last season we turned things round with Perisic and Eriksen finally being inserted in the starting lineup, by a fluke of course but at least it was maintained.

Then your standard for "perfect" is really low.
No thanks. Worth nowhere near 4m net a season.
Gosens's annual amortization, even with 40m transfer fee, is only 3m more. And twice better.
