He is not good, forgot to track back frequently, his output in offence is not good as well. He’s mediocre at best

I'd like to extend him, if he's willing to stay and continue playing as a wingback. Him and Dimarco are perfect for the left.

I recognise his huge improvement and significant contribution to the team. But no, he's not young anymore and we should gradually phase him out.

If the choice is between keeping Kolarov and Perisic, then it's a no brainer. But if you're asking if we should extend Perisic till he turns 34, it's a clear and resounding no.

We have no money. We are in desperate need of a number nine and a central midfielder. I'd rather give Perisic a three year extension on similar wages than take an unnecessary risk on a new LWB. Gosens isn't walking through that door.

Then your standard for "perfect" is really low.
No thanks. Worth nowhere near 4m net a season.
Gosens's annual amortization, even with 40m transfer fee, is only 3m more. And twice better.
Except you need 30-40m€ cash. And we aren't going to offer Perisic 5m€ net salary. Next guy we are going to sign for the LWB spot most probably won't get 5m€ net salary.

I think both parties will part way in the summer. Perisic probably believes he can still deliver at a high level at his natural position. He wont play that under Inzaghi. And there’s a high likelihood that some silly English club flush with money can offer him a good final contract of his career.

So much is fluid at Inter right now, tough to weigh in on resigning Perisic or not IMHO. Possible ownership change, key players/ management getting their new contracts, this year's CL run or not, monies availabile for the winter transfer window and the final standings in Serie A. Think we'll have a better picture in February 2022.

I think we will see him leave, for sure. However I would not be upset if he stayed and we once again had him and Dimarco on the left flank, we have no need to waste money on a LWB when we have Dimarco and Perisic.

Perisic was MOTM for me alongside Dzeko. He's so good.

I suspect he will leave to get his final big ticket playing to be play as left winger/forward. Would be okay keeping him if this is the level we'd get from him (though with a lower salary). I just feel he's pushing for the final year and be super pro and then get his prize (free transfer to play in a more offensive role)

Perisic was brillant today, maybe we should resign him.
I would not mind extending Perisic if he reduces half of his salary. He will be 33 already, 4m net is too much. Which I don't think he will.

So this guy future could be Premier League. Willing to offer fat salary and he could play in his favorite position.

Just shocked at this guy for the last year or so. I hated him man, he pissed me off so consistently.

The Bayern Munich + Conte cure has done wonders, as well as his own hyper-professional attitude. He is consistent, relentless, and very confident of his own abilities. He still has all the limitations that Ivan has always had, but he's put in so much work to cover them.

Will be a shame to see him go, I hope we send him off with more silverware.

That assist was brilliant, wish he can do that more often instead of trying to dribble past players which almost never works for him.

That's so frustrating about him. He can do amazing things from the left as a LWB but it seems something mental. Just like Brozovic. If they could have fix their inconsistency both would be gone already.

Perisic very consistent, but with Croatia.
