No doubt. There's a clear gap between Perisic and Dimarco even when I like the latter very much. But giving him a contract till 36 does sound very risky. I'm not sure if his body build is the exact same as Ronaldo's. At the end of the day we need to ask ourselves, are we okay with Perisic being our Ribery or Figo when he turns 35/36? Cos it's unrealistic to expect him to play like this 3 years down the line.

Frankly he's irreplaceable at the moment. Darmian was played on the wrong side so it's unfair to compare him to Perisic. But Dimarco is still not at that level yet. Let's listen to what Perisic's offer is. Maybe he could reduce his salary demand a bit if we offer him a corporate job like Figo/Cordoba?

Aside from Handa… I don’t really care if the rest of none starters leave including Perisic.

Get younger better options.

I am a huge fan of D’am think he is a perfect sub but again makes way too much. None of these guys will make us champion league winners so rather save on their wages and give younger players a shot.

That being said depends who they are replaced with. We need to start bringing some of those kids out on loan for the bench.
