Is there any small indications or rumors that it will be in the near future match Inter Vs Argentina or Inter Vs Zanetti's friends or something like that? Does anyone knows anything about this? I think it would be really nice to see some great players, Zanetti's friends and full Guiseppe Meazza celebrating name of captain.

Thanx

There will be a match Real Madrid legends vs Inter Milan legends in June. That's the only known event for now.

I think he should start and finish the Lazio game, and not start the Chievo game.

Fuck sanctions, Curva Nord should be full, whats the fine gonna be? 10k Euros? :D 20? 50? +3 matches without the Curva for the next season? Anything seems nothing compared to a proper goodbye to our Captain.

JJM, have you ever tried Laško Pšenično?

Looks like the era is finally coming to an end.

We are getting older, my friend. The same happened to my father, who was a big Platini & Maradona fan and he thought that was the end of an era.

End of an era for Inter. Without question one of Inter's greatest ever players if not THE greatest ever player.

Grazie Il Capitano!

Your next mission is known. Same price, better taste.

Something in the league of Erdinger.

I know I'll drink it a lot this summer.

For the treatment he has received from the hands of Mazzari as if he doesn't give a shit, I sincerely hope Mazzari gets the boot.

Zanetti is not the best player of Inter ever. He is the best player of soccer history of the universe. I have never seen a sportsman with such heart and loyalty. I am really happy for he is part of Inter. Thank you! Nice career. Good luck to him in his new role.

JZ said that the team(win) comes before his wishes to play...what a legend...such class,it is rare to see a player say that.

Gentlemen indeed! :epicwin::proud: haven't been this emotional since...can't remember tbh

These last days i tried not to read anything related to his retirement, and tried not to come in his thread. I tried to forget about it, because i already have something that doesn't let me breath in my throat. As dramatic as this sounds, this hurts!! Fucking hurts.

I've been a fan for 11 years now, and i'm NOT USED to see other players wear the armband. It's unnatural for me to see anyone from this team with it other than Zanetti. Can't believe the day has come.

Happy to have witnessed a living legend. They are pretty rare these days.

Why did he announce his retirement to an Argentinian newspaper ? why not through Inter.it or via an official club press conference ??

That does make it a little odd. Anyone else find it suspicious that Thohir started making the headlines with news of Zanetti's retirement instead of JZ himself? It almost seemed like Thohir was pushing in that direction, not directly telling him to get lost but dropping hints like 'we will only have X players above 30' and 'when JZ retires, I will have him learn English.' And then of course it took a few days for Zanetti to confirm that he was retiring.

Just throwing that out there.

IMO Zanetti wanted continue playing. But now we have a coach who doesn't want to play him and owner who though it is time for him to retire.

I think went pretty weirdly. We learned Zanetti was retiring when there were just 3 games left of this season. He is a living legend of this club I find it embarassing how this was handled.

Wow, you must missed this entire season...

You guys who follow Inter from 1990,
I have one question for you guys.
Do you feel the same thing when our legend Giuseppe Bergomi was retiring?
I don't know until now why #2 jersey still on there and wore by the likes of Jono...
and today if they retire #4, that's really insult Bergomi, but from the bottom of my heart, I want those two numbers retired.
