No such thing as fair price. He may be worth 15-20 now but teams also factor in the future when selling a young player with a bright future like Murillo.

Maybe you are right but forn 15 million no point in selling him. Kid is green and will make mistakes but will def be a top CB soon and is on low wages. Selling him to replace him with an even greener CB for 10 million is just stupid.

With prices nowadays, 35 millions should do just fine.

So you are saying benatia is much better than Miranda? :D

I would take him long term over Miranda. I felt like he was arguably the best CB in Europe during his time with Roma. He's been out of form for a while now, partly due to injuries, but IMO he's got the class. My worry about him would be his attitude, the way he forced his way out of Roma left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not even a Roma fan.

He was, but that was only for a year. He never showed what he did that season in Roma, scoring goals like a striker but great at the back as well. He is not that good at Bayern, mostly due to injuries and inconsistency, and he wasn't that good at Udine. If you ask me, he could be 1 season wonder that has injury problems, with not so good attitude as you said. And he is not that young too, he is like 29-30? Lazy to check lol.

He's 28, I also think he was at high level with Udinese. Just no one noticed because he wasn't surrounded by great players. I personally already rated him as one of the best CBs in the league. Pep is a great coach but he's not for everybody. I have a feeling that if Benatia is still there next year Ancelotti will get the best out of him.

Yes he was, he was good at Udine as well. But not nearly as good as he was at Roma. And he is not good at bayern as well. And turns 29 in 1 month :p

My point from the start is that victor basically said "if we had benatia instead of miranda we would have won the league". That's simply not true. ATM Miranda is better. Benatia might be better at long term as he is 3 years younger, but don't forget benatias injury problems as well.

"According to Colombia.com, Murillo was a personal ask from José Mourinho for his arrival at Old Trafford, and Manchester United are prepared to spend up to €35m on the defender, Bayern Munich would also be interested."

If we don't reach the CL, bye bye lots of players... even for less money...
