I hope he's fine and we'll see him next week on pitch. He did some horrible mistake today, but when you see how Lisandro is playing, you realize how important and good Miranda is.

I said it last year and will say it again, we need to find top quality CB to replace him. i dont know what people see in him, he’s been declining the past 2 years.

What? He has been an absolute boss this season!
We need a 3 quality CB though since i dont think he can handle playing a game every 3 days and constantly put in class performances.

I m not doubting that but it s different if you make one blunder per season which costs us a goal than when you make a blunder every second game that usually costs us points
It s always about cosistency and miranda this season has been one of our best performers heck he s been one of the best CB s in serie a this season thus far so one or two mistakes can be forgiven even if it costs us a point.

Rano on the other hand has managed to be amongst our worst players ever since he joined and probably cost us more goals than any other player in our current squad so obviously people will get pissed faster

Yeah, some perspective here needed. Miranda can make odd mistakes here and there (like few in a whole season), but he shouldn't be crucified because his standard play is at world class level.

Miranda has been brilliant for us so far this season, which is why people are willing to forget 1 mistake. It would be the same if Skriniar makes a similar mistake.

However, we do need a top 3rd CB this summer. Miranda is getting on, he shouldn't be playing more than 1 game a week. If we are in Europe, then we definitely need 3 top CBs. Ranocchia and Lopez are just meh, and most like both will be gone this summer. Venheusden or Bastoni could be the 4th CB.

I knew that crap would happen when our team was playing the ball around with pressure like that.

Definitely Miranda's mistake but like someone said, it's a rare one.

from sky sport italia (https://sport.sky.it/calcio/serie-a/2018/02/13/inter-infortunio-miranda-.html?intcmp=sport_recirc) : "miranda will miss the next two matches and should be back for the derby".

in other news, passioneinter.com (http://www.passioneinter.com/notizi...i-compagni-fascia-a-miranda-e-addio-a-giugno/) writes that according to newspaper "la repubblica" (usually a reliable source when it's not about politics) some players want miranda as a captain instead of icardi.

according to passioneinter, it's specifically these players who don't want icardi to be the captain anymore: Perisic, Candreva and even more than the others Brozovic.

If this is true, fuck the management tbh. It’s them who created this mess.
They knew, we knew, from the get go, that making Icardi the captain might create these types of situations.
By appointing Icardi as a captain, when, in all fairness to him, even he was surprised by it , you left the door open for situations like this.
Nobody respected Icardi back then, few do now, and it made Icardi an easy target. People view Icardi through a magnifying glass, therefore our own players judge him too and create negative opinions about him, and in difficult times, times of negativity and tensions, these things come out.
This is where a strong management needs to intervene, and tell everybody to shut the fuck up and do what you’re paid to do.
Fix this shit, cuz it was you who enabled it. SMFH:mad::mad:

Meh when icardi was made captain the only reasonable alternatives were handa who at that time was pushing for a move away and miranda who just joined the team. So all three of them would have been big gambles i would have picked handa but seeing the options they had back then i dont think it was a terrible decision.
Also imho brozo and perisic also have to take part of the blam i mean according to the press this whole thing started when icardi called them out for not giving their all in training so he did what a captain should do Imho.

So they chose the worse out of three options.
And no, true captains don't call out their team mates openly in public. I never remember Zanetti calling out anybody out through the media.
There's other ways to do it, you know. Like private convo, team meeting ets. Out in public through the media is the last thing he should have done, and that's a mistake.
But also, at the same time, he is our captain, and whoever it is that's not ok with it, need to also shut the f up and play.
Two wrong dont make one right.

Wasn't it Mazzarri who made him captain?

Making Icardi captain was best decision possible at that moment. He deserves to be Captain if you just watch his game. Off field antics are other thing..

He did not say any names in public he only said some people are slacking in training and thats not acceptable i dont see how thats a problem. Also we dont know if he hss not alreadd adressed them in private or during a team session.
On the whole captain thing it s easy to judge in hindsight! Nobody knew how good miranda would be when he joined and nobody knew how long he can keep up his performances so again the choice was not that obvious on top of that giving the captaincy to a new arrival just does not make too much sense either.

The test result has come out for Joao Miranda, who was forced to leave the field at half time against Bologna last Sunday. The Brazilian has suffered an elongation to the adductor of his left thigh, the same type of injury suffered recently by Mauro Icardi (right thigh for him). And so, the timetable for Miranda’s return is about 10-15 days, if there is no further complication.

Fuck! I hope he'll be fine for the Derby.
