Don't have one.
30 million for Correa ! ! ! Lotito's nuts !

with that money I'd go for Adama Traore if Thuram's move is not happening.
We should scout local strongmen competitions, i m sure there are bodybuilders there that are better footballers than adama. I mean, if we want to go in that direction.

I saw bernardo silva being linked with milan, I know he is another midget but would love to see him here instead of correa. Not gonna happen though...

I have been strongly against Kean but i would rather get Kean on loan and save money than spend 35-40m on Correa.
No arguments there. Lautato, Dzeko, Sanchez and Kean are a solid group of forwards. I don’t wanna see this club blow their load on a decent player only to miss out on possibly someone a lot better next summer.

You can't buy decent defender with 30M nowadays. Be realistic guys, attacking players usually cost more.

Hakan is free. Locatelli is 30m max. Kostic 12m. Thuram 20m+. Or Chiesa was only 10m more just a year ago.

Bargains could be found everywhere. Whether you are smart enough to grab them quick is another story.

30m is still a LOT of money.

I think you have to put things in perspective. I think at Lazio the most important thing was to bring Immobile as quick as possible in position to score so players tend to focus on him. Haven’t watched him enough to give an objective opinion but from what I saw he Will add things to the squad we don’t really have now like dribbling and pace. With someone like Dzeko I think it will be a good match. He doesn’t score/assist alot but maybe that will come as he is entering his prime. Most important question is: is he getting in position to score and is his end product bad or is he never there in the box to score? If it’s the first thing he has potential.

As for the reported fee, you could expect that from Lotito. Especially this late in the transfer window, hopefully it will be 20M + all kind of bonusses. Like if he scored 50 goals we give Lazio Some money etc.

The one thing I will say about Correa is despite him not scoring a ton he seems to show up in big matches. Goals against Bayern, Juventus and Milan last year. He also offers something completely different then any of our other forwards, we have no one with pace right now that can skin a defender. He will add a different dimension to our attack.

Correa is a natural second striker and a solid link-up player. He is not only about goals at all. Also very physical for this type of player. I gotta say, I think we are lucky to end up with him rather than Zapata or Thuram. Our two best forwards currently are pure strikers, so getting one to play behind Dzeko or Lautaro is obviously better than getting a pure striker such as Zapata.

And about Thuram, there was a very big risk he would have been a complete flop. His mentality is questionable and he is mainly a winger.

I honestly don't know how good/bad Correa is. Hovewer Inzaghi made Immobile 30 goals/season machine capo cannoniere. So whatever... I will wait with all my criticism and will hope Inzaghi knows what he is doing.

Yeah. I haven't been big on Correa but this is a good point. Pace and dribbling is something we don't exactly have. Sanchez hast he dribbling but he isn't fast anymore and he's these days more of a passer guy (world class in this).

As long as the price is not over 30m€, Correa is fine as Thuram lottery ticket is too high risk after the injury.

The problem is we have already watched Correa under Inzaghi and the best he could do was 8 goals and 4 assists. I am not expecting a massive improvement in case Correa joins Inter.

The thing is right now we need more a pure striker who's great scorer than a second striker who creates a lot but he's wasteful in front of goal. I have raised this concern before. We just lost our main scorer who had contributed in 34 goals last season (24 goals and 10 assists). Who's going to cover for this loss? If it isn't Correa (and it certainly won't be Scamacca) then who? Do people expect grandpa Dzeko to score 20 goals or Lautaro to turn into prime Aguero and score 30 goals? They're both unlikely to happen.

Correa would have been a great option if we were looking to replace Sanchez. But we're looking to replace Lukaku. At this age Dzeko isn't enough. We need to sign another scorer.

The thing is goals could be distributed. The important thing is that our team scores those goals overall, whoever it is. If Correa doesn't score, but will help Lautaro and midfielders get +10 more goals, then it's a good deal.

This is just plain biasness. Thuram has the same number of goals last 2 seasons (18 goals in 60, versus Correa's 17 in 58). The only positive Thuram has over Correa is his sellability in case he flops, but given how much we suck at selling this isn't a positive to me. We're sorely lacking flair/dribblers in the squad, someone who can beat his man and create moments of panic by drawing a few defenders out of position. 20M plus bonuses is a worthy investment. Lolito can fuck off otherwise. I agree Correa is not a suitable replacement for Kaku, but nor is Thuram.
