He is auditioning for his next club and contract, so he must be under certain pressure to do something or else he is playing seria b level competition next year or worse. Given those circumstances, maybe we can squeeze something out of him this year. Certainly seems more useful than arna since the season started.
He's also married into nobility iirc, that stuff needs maintenance.

That is right. Plus Limone probably pushed and encouraged him

FCIN note that even a shock contract extension may not be out of the question for the Argentine. :coffee:

Imagine being that useless so even Arnautovic is called up in CL and you're not. As if benched by 38272727 old Dzeko wasn't enough.

Correa is better than Arnautović. He did more vs Verona then Arnautović in two seasons. Better to be invisible then to miss open goals like Arnautović. Arnautović is the worst.

Arna's last season was a lot better than Correa's last season (I know, Correa wasn't at Inter, but it's still a fact). So far, Correa has been better this season.

I still think they were both mistakes by our management, but we are doing good regardless. Arna is here only that Lautaro, Thuram or Taremi can get a breather. That's okay for me, at least this season.

Arnautovic's contribution in the build-up and also indirect involvement in goals is indeniable. He's been quite frustrating with these missed chances, but he's done way more than Correa actually. How could you say that it's better to be invisible than miss open goals like Arna? I mean, come on man, that makes zero sense.

Now I sound like giving Arnautovic more credit than what he deserves, but the guy had his positive things. He failed to live up to expectations, but he wasn't complete shite as Correa was. And "effort" is a difference maker here. One has tried, while the other was a non-factor.

Watch other teams beside Inter you'll see what being adored "build-up" and "indirect involvement" could be done by any half-decent strikers in the league. Dzeko's left foot can do those passings better.

He is the worst Inter striker, costs too much so must be replaced, simple as that. Can't even tie the boots of Serie A retarded sounding moves last summer like Kean or Retegui.

Being indirectly involved in the goals or even have contributions in the build-up play is something which you don't see in the stats.

Then again, why would you bring Dzeko in this context? :D

The point was, which one is worse, Arnautovic or Correa. And now you're bringing useless points into discussion, like replacing him or whatever, which I never said he has to stay or if he's good enough for Inter. Point was that he's done better than Correa, why would you bring up useless points into discussion?

The original point is useless. Both of them are shit and neither should be praised for something they don't have. "Build-up play"...come on, he is slow & weak as fuck and basic passes aren't something special. Dzeko at 38 brings the minimum standard of dishing the balls, not the Austrian fraud.

Had you praised Correa you would have received my quote too because he is also shit. Nothing = nothing.

Build up play? Arnautović is slowing our build up play, when he is on the pitch we are slower, he doesnt press, misses sitters.. His only contribution is being comic relief. Thats his legacy here!

I remember Arna's flicks and heel passes that created a few chances, even two goals. It's not a lot, but I can easily say Arna's contributions are a lot better than what we got from Podolski.

I remember people also hating on Osvaldo, who was a beast for us compared to Arna, Correa and Podolski.

It doesn't sit well with me that we HAVE TO hate on our players most of the time. We are making the hate swell up and become bigger, which is ballooning into comical and farsical. It's not like we expected Arna to be a world beater, especially at this age.

Better from him today. He still needs more sense of urgency when the team loses the ball. Still jogging around and not really pressing.
