Correas response was class. But Luiz, own up to your mistake.

They wanted to see us get triggered and we gladly gave them this opportunity.

No Correa caused the drama by responding to Luiz Felipe's banter.

Shit I don't want us back to times when we were blaming everything just to mask our failures.

He was upset and shrugged him off, even if they are Friends Luiz turned it into a soap opera as other players got involved and after he got a red card which could have been considered harsh but still its an important match, leave the hugging and banter somewhere else. Correa did nothing wrong.

That's what everyone is forced to do on social media these days.

"Apologize" and we're just sitting in a society with empty apologies so that the keyboard people are happy that they won on the internet.

Performance is a bit strong of a word. As of now Nainggolan, Joao Mario and Ljajić have a higher percentage of good games than Correa and Hakan. Please start playing to your potential, fuck sake.

Cancel culture is real and it's happening everywhere lol

Going back to him, this dude was our marquee signing and he's been playing like shit bar his debut. However, I'd like him to start consistently to get into some kind of form and we all know Dzeko is best when subbed in.

I read this morning an article in which Correa was talking about his Inter debut. He stated that his debut was the best performance of his career.

Do you know what struck me about the interview and what he was saying?

The fact that his debut was six rounds ago and he was still talking about. As a professional, he should have archived it and moved on. It makes me feel that he is satisfied with himself and what he has "achieved" as opposed to focusing on his next game in the hope that he will perform equal to or better than he did against Verona.

Yeah doesn't sound good. His best performance of his career also lasted less than 20 minutes.

This guy should really get his head out of his ass or Inzaghi should stop using him. I don't get it why he's not told to press harder, he should take notes from Lautaro. This guy is completely useless off of the ball.

Im not sure what anyone expected from this guy.

1. he has been over-dribbling his entire carreer, its not something new than he holds onto the ball for too long.

2. he is statistically not a 30m player by even a long shot based on his stats, which are a awful. Why are his stats awful? Look above, he is far from a player with top potential. He likes to dribble, too much and he has no end product.

He should be playing for a team like everton at best.

His maturity really worries me. His goal celebration and his haircut still look like a 20-year-old wonder kid from Latin America. Correa is 27. Brozo is a few months order - and with Barella they've been carrying our team for 2 seasons already. Correa needs to take a hard look on himself in the mirror or he'll just be another player we overpaid for.

Sure, a lack of minutes affect him but he needs to earn them. Props to Inzaghi for not giving him any preferential treatment though. We'll be facing Empoli away just 2 days after Rube. I hope he starts again in an environment where our fans won't boo him. If he contributes meaningfully, great. We'll still root for him cos he's one of us. But if he's still clueless and standing around, well.

There is two reason we get Correa.

First, he had different charactheristic than other forward.
Second, he is Inzaghi request.

The reason we get him for 30 million because Lotito doesn't want sell him to Inter.
Honesty i prefer we sign Wout Weghorst last season, because he is similar to Dzeko.

Why inzaghi requesting him though? He's not using Correa that much so far

Because we only had few options with our budget.

Marotta want Marcus Thuram and Inzaghi want Joaquin Correa. In the end Inzaghi get Correa because Thuram was injured.

He not using Correa so much because Dzeko is performing so good so far, and Lautaro is our main striker.

Definitely won't start. Inzaghi said Correa was still not fine after his knock from NT break. I guess he had to use him against Lazio, yesterday it wasn't necessary.

You're overthinking it. Clearly he's had better performances (vs Milan last season, and Coppa Final vs Atalanta). This was his Inter debut and he scored two great goals. You never forget your first and sometimes your first is your favorite moment.
