if PSG comes for our players, it'll be for guys like Skriniar, Lautaro, De Vrij or Barella. Correa would be closer to the bottom of that list. They'd prefer Sanchez and Vidal since they have name recognition.

I was looking at his career stats and they are average to say the least. He has scored more than 10 goals only once (11 goals) and he's 27 years old. In my opinion this should be his first and last season playing for us.

I think a lot of you guys are being unfair. We haven’t even had a chance to see what he can do when he’s fit and integrated in the team. I’m not saying he will be a super star but I really think he has something to give.

His tears yesterday were obviously from frustration. I don’t think anyone wants to be fit and prove themselves more then he does. He knows exactly where he is in his career and how big of an opportunity this is for him. I’d be more worried if he just seemed cool with collecting a check and being in a big club.

30M for someone who scores an average of 10 goals in the last 3 seasons is kinda expensive. But I wish Correa well. He seems to be a humble guy who loves his family. Any news on how long he'll be out for? Hopefully 2 months max?

I've been saying the same shit about Sensi, if you can't play(even due to injury), you ain't shit.

You ain't shit as a player on the pitch, but you are useless for the coach when he needs to call a squad and for the management when building the roster (you can't really be depended on if your injuries make you being unavailable for extended periods of time).

Injuries are sometimes about the luck but definitely not always. And I'm not saying one should blame the player per se, but the end result is what matters (is the player available for the coach or not, can the player play).

It doesn't look like bad luck. He's just injury prone.

Distrazione muscolare al flessore sinistro - roughly translated, he's pulled his left thigh. Out for about a month usually, but considering he was only just coming back from another injury I would aim to have him back for the second Liverpool leg in early March.

We. Need. Another. Player.

I understand money and all that bollocks, but whatever loan fee you pay now to get your Origis, Thurams, or even Frattesi/Nandez would surely be recouped by winning the Scudetto, which we are endangering if we carry on without capable bench options.

I'm hyperbolizing to make a point, but let's say, hypothetically, that Scamacca was available for a €15m transfer fee. I know he's not, but just bear with me.

This club would sooner extend Dzeko for another year at €5m (about €10m gross), instead of paying a €15m transfer fee to secure Scamacca. Despite the obvious, incomparable benefits of signing a younger, potential star with resale value, we would elect the €10m outlay on Dzeko over the €15m outlay on Scamacca purely because 10 < 15.

That is the current state of finances at this club and the current attitude towards securing our winning future.

I dunno if thats really fair, we're considering Frattesi, clearly chasing Scamacca as well.

A lot will depend where our results end for the season, I wager that's the biggest factor in our transfer budget
