My only problem, and this was late, he was breaking way and was surrounded by 2 or 3 defenders he took them on, grande in one sense but should of held up for some help to arrive. Overall kinda pleased with his performance. Good work.

@Ethor you mean late in the game, 1 one 1 with a gassed Cuadrado, can't dribble him? Very disappointed he can't deliver in those situations.

Correa 's problem is definitely not a skill or physical thing, he has pretty bad mental strength, I guess brehme pretty much summed it up already, but it shows today when his mind is right (no pressure knowing Milan was up 3-0), how he could perform at his potential.

But this really shows his level is Lazio and he has no business playing for a top club where there will always be pressure.

Yet another two-goal game :D Though this time both goals were totally useless.

Hopefully we can someone sell him this summer or at least loan out to Spain where he might be able to succeed better.

That second goal was so stupid, why the fuck didn't he pass it to Lautaro when Lautaro was in a better position?

But his level is fine as a sub for Inter. I think people here shit on him way too much. He underwhelmed overall yes, but it didn't help Inzaghi chained him to the bench til late in the year in favor of grandpa Edin.

And Lautaro played his best football partnered with Correa. Proving what everyone but Inzaghi seems to know. Lautaro plays best next to a striker that helps space out defenses. Which is what Correa does as a fairly quick player with good dribbling ability. It's what he did for Lazio and he can succeed doing it here.

If some club shows up in Milan offering 25 plus sure sell him. But I don't want to see us piss him away for the cheap or on a loan where we have to replace him.

He was injured basically all season until the end when he started to play. That's the problem with him.

Hopeful signs teaming up with Lautaro at times these past couple of monthe. It will truly be Inzaghi's team next season so we'll see. However, it someone comes and offers decent money for Correa go for it, if not then an occasional starter and sub. If Dybala option goes south pairing him up with Lautaro is the best option going forward.

I don't know if it's possible to shift him without a loss now, maybe better to keep him as a sub for next year?

This transfer was a bust. I don’t think you can really argue otherwise.

Maybe he has a standout season next year out of no where but I doubt it. Hopefully we can recoup something.

I think this armchair psychologist talk about mentality is bullshit, no offense. This is just a classic case of player being requested by his ex-manager. Same happened with Vidal under Conte, and Radja under Spaletti. Player thinks he can perform at his usual level and that it will be enough.

I expect this narrow missing out on Scudetto to be a serious wake up call about consistency for every player that remains here after the summer. Of course I would like a better striker than Correa but we have other strikers to replace first. Then maybe if he has a good world cup we can get to that.

Mentality is a key part at top level, not bullshit at all.

Also at Inter, using resources smartly is so important. Thus having 30m€, 3.5m€ net salary striker as Correa, he needs to deliver. He needs to be fit so he's available for the coach and on the pitch he needs to provide assists or goals. He provides possession play and some flicks but that ain't enough. Correa scored 4 goals (I don't count 2 goals against Samp) and one assist in Coppa when it mattered for Inter. It's really not enough for such resource usage (annual cost of having player in the squad).
