Strange that Mou said Moratti must stay. It's almost impossible to see a Moratti-less Inter...unless something is going on behind the scenes? Could Moratti be planning/thinking to sell the club because of the latest Calciopoli shit? Is this shit causing some disturbance in the club, and could this have also affected Mou somehow?

t'was another case of lost in translation. Mourinho has said something on the line like both Moratti and Zanetti should stay...He has meant both are more important to Inter on the longer run. In all fairness Inter now earned a more massive political clout on the back of a CL win, saving the coefficients etc...eventually bigger bragging rights with the figc...these metrics should eventually count in favour if Inter once the calciopoli begins...Also Faccheti has too much respect even amongst rivals, dont think figc would have the guts to damage his name along with Inter on the back of a thin phonecall.

Javier Zanetti,
I just read some news in Arabic that Inter fans in Milano are going against the departure of Jose Mourinho and the mayor of Milan, Letizia Moratti, blames the Italian media for this. She also demanded the Italian journalists to help in keeping Mourinho in Italy. Here's the source if anybody understands Arabic:

http://www.kooora.com/default.aspx?showarticle=68228&obj=0

Moratti even said that there is still hope of keeping Mourinho and he will have a meeting with him in the coming days. Here's his interview:

Its not because of one interview he got sacked, he histrionics were too annoying for any one to tolerate. Its started to fume when Roman went after Ronaldinho that was vetoed out by Jose, Roman bought in Shevchenko then Mourinho was completely against the buy and over a period of time Drogba overshadowed the Ukaranian. Same with Ballack, it was a combined buy from Roman and Jose but the player wasnt able to make his mark under Mourinho.

Roman was annoyed with Jose for treating his star players shabbily. He wanted Chelsea to play more attractive football, more marketable footballers but all Mourinho did was picking up fights with every other team that eventually made Chelsea the most hated team in England.

I can foresee the same fate at Real madrid, Perez wants his Real Madrid team to play attractive football and loved by rival fans to compete with Barca on every other front whilst Mourinho for sure would pick up fights with every other team. The problem with Real Madrid they have spent shitloads and won fuck all and ironically this appointment is more due to adversity than a plan for building a new team. They are in need of trophies first to satisfy their bigot fans and sponsors, adn there is no better option than Mourinho who can provide that.

I wasn't referring to Mourinho but Mancini.

How could Moratti leave? It's impossible. He is the number one Inter fan and he has no reasons to leave, unless if he goes bankrupt.

I will buy Inter :D

Seriously though, I'm not begrudging Mourinho his desire to leave. I will be eternally grateful for what he did and any objective Inter fan should too. All we can do is wave goodbye, thank him for what he's done and wish him success.

Moratti even said that there is still hope of keeping Mourinho and he will have a meeting with him in the coming days.

If anybody can do that, it's Moratti. Come-on Mou, there are still records to be be broken; the only team in Italy to win six Scudetos on the trot, the addition of the second star, the only team to successfully defend a Champions League title. There! That's a challenge :D

Jose Mourinho Fails at Remedial Sports MetaphorsPosted by Precious Roy on May 24th, 2010 @ 10:00 am

This is What I Will Do to All of Europe!

After Inter’s Champions League victory over the weekend, it seems all but certain that Jose Mourinho will become the next manager of Real Madrid.

What’s lowclass about Mourinho’s bitch slap rapping’ is that Madrid still have a manager in Manuel Pellegrini. Seriously, dude, have a modicum of respect for the peers in your profession.

Anyway, of the many comments the Special One made is this: “No player or coach has won the three important leagues and I want to be the first to do it. Ancelotti, Capello, Van Nistelrooy, Beckham and others have won two, but not three. I would like to be the first to win the grand slam of the Spanish, Italian and English leagues.”

Uh, what…?

A grand slam plates four runs (or a grand slam in tennis and golf consists of winning the four majors). Not three. Four. You can go for the trifecta of England, Italy, and Spain; or if you want to go to Germany after Spain, that would qualify as a grand slam. Okay, we sound bitchy even for a Monday, but until Pellegrini is actually canned (which could happen today), Mourinho should just dial it back a bit.

Mourinho to be traded to Real Madrid for ?

We all know that Mourinho is all but set to join R.Madrid in the coming few days or weeks but what we don't know yet is at what cost for R.Madrid. Mourinho had extended his contract with us binding him till 2012 or so right? And according to the rumours, R.Madrid will have to pay us around €13-16 million for that. Mourinho might have an exit clause for sure but at what cost for him or the team to sign him.

No wonder, rumours have started to surface as well; as to which player we would get from R.Madrid this time. It has been a tradition since we have started winning titles (starting with Cambiasso) that we must sign a Real Madrid reject almost every seasons and might the trend continue in the coming season as well ?? The first interesting name to surface from the rumour mill is - Benzema but I wonder how these players would be useful to us; unless Mourinho and R.Madrid gets Milito as well.

Never say impossible when it comes to transfer, even though I very much doubt that it could happen this season atleast (Milito). This is R.Madrid's squad list and a potential Inter buy for coming or next season:

http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/First_Team/1193041476158/Plantilla/Squad.htm

Seriously, I can't think of any "gettable" player which can help us in our squad. Still, there is no harm to discuss I guess.

What might it be from the following:

(1) Any player from there ??

(2) We finish off our payment to Real for Sneijder-Samuel purchases. I am pretty sure that these payments are done in installments and sometimes even take a year or so for the full payment.

(3) Tell them - give us a few € million/s less but don't fuck with Kolarov transfer.

(4) I read in the other thread that their coach could also be a good option for us but I don't think that would happen.

(5) The simplest one - The whole € millions which Real would owe us.

Not sure, if most of you guys are interested in this topic.

Mourinho built the best team in the history of Italian football and won the treble which no other Italian team did.

Those are my feelings.

But Id still want to win.

We want to kick his ass and beat his side.

What would your feelings be if you were facing an inter side with capello as the new inter manager??

it had happened already with Lippi as Inter trainer.

But my club comes first.

Mourinho's main objective at Real Madrid is to win the champions league (because he wants to win this trophy with three different clubs, or more): it would for sure be a weird situation.........

Although this thread will probably get closed, the ones that I see as being useful are Marcelo as a left winger, Drenthe as a back up to Eto'o on the wing, and Arbeloa is Maicon leaves. Gago would also be good but I think with Mariga we've already got a good back up for Cambiasso next year.
