If this Milan is in the top 4 fight, I don't see a reason Mourinho's Roma won't be next season.

We should teach him a lesson by loaning him Eriksen.

You can win Serie A as a good tactician (not so much the case in the EPL for instance), which Mourinho still is. If Jose can keep the drama at a minimum, Roma will be challenging for the top spots.

He's a smart coach, but loves drama and the press knows this. We all know he had his fair share of beef with many in Italy back in the day. I won't be surprised if it happens again and Roma-Mourinho implodes.

A club famous for imploding now paired with a manager who has recently become a specialist at self-sabotage.

But then, we could have said that about Inter and Conte a couple of years back. It will be interesting to see how this goes. Maybe this suggests that the Roma new owner has a serious amount of transfer budget ready, which could make the league more interesting.

Him going to Juve would have sucked, but they're not that desperate.

Milan maybe.

Couldn't care less about Roma. Spurs and Roma are his level now.

Nah. He will try to lowball us for Skriniar instead.

Btw Helenio Herrera had also coached Roma after leaving Inter.

An unexpected appointment, but I love this man for what he did for us. I don't begrudge him this opportunity.

Can't wait for Conte vs Mou part II. It will happen now. How long do you reckon it will take Mourinho to say: "Oh, he won a Scudetto? I won the treble"?

Yeesh how random. Roma’s squad is not that great. They’re gonna need heavy investment in the summer just to even challenge for a top 4 spot. It’s almost kinda fitting that Mou and Roma are a thing. Both have seen much better days and are on the verge of wallowing in obscurity. It might work to their advantage as others will overlook them.

So the man dump 30m pounds granted from Spurs to be able to coach Roma? Life must be hella bored out there.

Hahaha this is so left field, everybody was saying it's gonna be Sarri.

But the Roma squad, man. So many good players get constantly injured, also there are some older players like El Sharaawy, Mikhtaryan, Džeko, Pastore, Davide Santon , ..

The midfielders are probably the best part of Roma squad

Either a busy summer by Roma incoming or we are getting some hilarious football moments next season. We'll get to the eternal question of can Mourinho be a good coach in Serie A or is he really a hasbeen (for his standards)?

Conte at Inter
Mourinho to Roma
Allegri to Juventus
Sarri to Milan

If these moves happen, it would be an interesting league race as all 4 coaches won the Scudetto in their last Serie A season.

Good guy Mourinho again achieved that people talk more about him than they talk about Inters success.

Says more about Inter and this season than Mourinho.

Good news really. I've always wanted and thought that he's best suited for Italy whether it's Inter or not. Just stay away from Juve and Milan and it's fine by me.

Good move for Mourinho, good for Roma, and good for Serie A (indirectly good for Inter). I'm glad that he's in Roma now.

I wish him the worst at Roma  and the best for us.

Same.
I won't say "fuck him" because of what he accomplished here, but i'm very close.

Thank god is Roma.
This is a huge step down because they cant even spend money like Tottenham did.

I think he’s done any way.
He didn’t learn his lesson from United and fucked it up royally with a great squad at Spurs.

Don't really affect us as Roma is not our direct competitor.

The only thing good comes from this is that serie-a gets more attention because of Mou's reputation.

Lots of people would wait for his pre-match and post-match conferences :yao:

I honestly don't know should I feel sad for Mou or Roma. In his glory days, Mou would not accept appointment unless he get guarantee about the budget. But nowadays, he don't have many options. I guess he just took chances at Roma. I don't believe Roma will suddenly break their bank for Mou getting the transfer he wants. I expect it will be just like his experience with Tottenham, who also did not give him transfer that he wanted.
