"I'm picking Fenerbahçe's starting 11 like this: I have 25 coins. I toss them in the air. The players on the coins that land on the table make it into the starting 11. The ones that fall to the floor go to the bench. During the week, I go out and party at nightclubs in Istanbul."

Who thought that was a good idea to invite Mou to the Turkish League

I actually thought that was not a real quote.

I love him, but that was a genuine question. If you're constantly making changes to your starting 11, then it's normal to be asked why do you make those changes.

“While I was getting ready to take a throw-in, I was caught off guard by Mourinho, who was coaching Real Madrid at the time… He was standing right next to me, speaking seriously, as if he were giving me instructions. ‘Go to Özil and tell him he needs to push forward through the middle!’ José said, leaning into my ear.
I looked at him in shock and didn’t answer, but after stepping onto the pitch and reaching Özil, I involuntarily passed on the message. What surprised me most was that Özil nodded at his coach, signaling he understood the instructions — as if it was totally normal!
The funniest part? Dortmund were up 2-1… and then Özil ended up scoring the equalizer.”
— The confession of Marcel Schmelzer on the legendary Champions League clash between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, with The Special One taking center stage.
