He also said in that CNN interview that the title that meant the most to him was winning the Champions League with us since no group of players gave their all as much ours did.

Jose Mourinho on Mario Balotelli
in an interview with CNN:
"Mario was good fun. I could
write a book of 200 pages of my
two years in Inter with Mario, but

the book would be not a drama.
The book would be a comedy! I
remember one in Kazan. We
went to Kazan in the Champions
League. In that match, I had all
my strikers injured. No Milito, no
Eto'o. I was really in trouble and
Mario was the only one. Mario
gets a yellow card in minute 42 or
43. So, when I go to the dressing
room at half time, I spent, I
would say, 14 minutes of the 15
speaking only for Mario. "Mario, I
cannot change you. I cannot
make a change. I don't have a
striker on the bench. Don't touch
anybody. Play only with the ball.
When we lose the ball, no
reaction. If somebody provocates
you, no reaction. If the referee
makes a mistake, no reaction.
Mario, please"
Minute 46, red card...

Jose Mourinho doesn't give up when it seems "difficult".
Remember our triple-season, our team passed the group-stage with luck and then won everything, why should this Real not be able to win the CL?
Barca sucks this year and is not the same team like they were under Pep, and I don't think there's any other team that can beat Real easily.
They have fantastic players, and the season is long.

I would give hima huge salute if he can win ECL with this real.. Coz this would be more of a personal achievement for him under difficult and less cooperative environment. This means that his conflict and man management is truly great.

But under circumstances, I think it is a waste for him to stay there.. He can win la liga as FCB is not as strong as before. But in ECL, the English teams are getting much stronger and Ferguson always has a compact team.

For RM, investing for long period with mou is too much risk, as the man doesn't plan staying for a long period. In this matter, Mou must put up the likes of Cassilas and Sergio Ramos..

England is probably the most suitable place for him, the people love him there, and they leave his family alone. In Italy, people love him but the environment is just so intense... that he has to be in news in daily basis..

In Italy, people love him but the environment is just so intense... that he has to be in news in daily basis..

That's only because of INTER. If he was coaching BBilan or god forbid, Juve, we would be praised 24/7 like how they are all up Conte's ass or how they were all up Allegri's ass.

Same goes for Balotelli. Italy's most hated person while at Inter; people don't want him on Italia NT, booed at every stadium e.t.c. e.t.c. Plays for City and now the whole of Italy loves him, want him on NT, want him to come back to serie A (to Milan of course) e.t.c.

Do you know why that is N4L. I've read some stuff about why Inter is so disliked in Italy, but what's the base reason? I know this isn't the place for it, but I'm really curious about this.

Base reason. "Inter dont have much Italians" might be that way in short.

But If you want to figure it out, go back to the source. see how Inter was associated and founded. then see the reason behind it. you`ll realize that Inter was the only team back then that was starting to take the revolutionary road, fighting the overwhelming racism and discrimination back in the time. we were hated from the majority of Italy and maybe Europe back then. and this hate just kept going on till now, only now because of many other reasons that came later.

On the bilan side, you`d see that since we are apart in 1908, they never won a shit for 50 damn years, it`s because we always get the best players, and most of them werent Italian actually.

On the jube side, they started hating us when we became a real threat growing so strong as a team, despite there mafia ways that kept them winning the title on and on, we re their nightmare that kept chasing them and making things much harder for them. we almost always beat them in all the derbies in the mid 30s. And then the hatred became more later in years for reasons that we all know about.

Inter was and will be hated in Italy for being special and open minded, for chosing the revolutionary road and fighting hell to keep going achieving our goals.

As I always said, Inter is more than a football club man, it`s a way of life.

And yet it's 'funny' that our fanbase is traditionally fascist & right wing..

Don't get ahead yourself there Dev. You make it sound like Inter was founded by a perfect egalitarian group of Europeans, Americans, Asians and Africans. Fact is, Inter was founded by Italians and Swiss. The 'foreigners' were Swiss. At the end of the day, still, white Europeans.

We've always had a multicultural squad, but these days, which top team doesn't? There have been times where Inter was comprised of 75% (and even more) Italian players too.

The whole 'brothers of the world' thing that Inter do, is great. Don't get me wrong, it's a small reason why I'm attached or first became attached to this club too, but don't get too misty-eyed in the history of the club.

Go back to the first years of the 20th century and try to treat a non white guy like your brother and see how it turns out to be with the your extreme typical European or American nightbores, for that matter, fanatic. and yes they were alot back in those years.

I never said that Inter was founded by black ppl, actually I meant, and that exactly what made it more special, that Inter was founded by white men who had principles and were more civilized and had minds that back then were quite rare, quite prior to their time. It was like the war between the north and the south in the USA. and we were simply the blue side literally, ironically so.

And that was the beginning of Inter, we were born to be find hate since day one, we were born to be hated by the extreme majority who still had backwards look at other people who were not Italians, that they are being less than ppl just for not being Italians, not to mention not being white people.

The the hate took many other shapes and not just the racist look, for more different reasons that Ive mentioned.

We also have to deal with the fact that Inter is an Italian team and they have Italian fans who could act as extreme as the rest of Italy. so that`s normal, so this doesnt mean that all the Inter fans are angels. but the fact that Inter soly represent these high messures and ethic values that reject racism and discrimination in all its kinds and shapes could help those ppl to reconsider their own personal beliefs.

On another note, I cant get ahead of myself, and If I somehow can do that then I think I`d fall on my ass cause one leg would be leaving the other in an unbalanced acrobatic position that I even find it hard to imagine.

One of the best posts I`ve read this year! :proud: I`ve just saved it on my laptop! I'm proud that my mentality is totally compatible with INTER`s philosophy and that you're an Inter fan, too. :datass:

Regarding Mourinho: I believe he will win UCL with Real Madrid. Wether it's this season or the next one, it depends on the "luck" factor that is so important in these knock-out competitions. He has all what it takes, he has a young and ambitious squad. I really hope he will win it this season, as we are not in this competition this year. For the record: I'm not a Real Madrid fan, despite visiting Santiago Bernabeu & their facilities couple of days ago :p

After finishing his Madrid job, he will probably go to either PSG or Premier League, depending on the timing of the moment.

Mourinho was overly confident when he joined, but he is probably beginning to realise that he might be in over his head now.

Chortle.

I can't belive. We're starting to have "Mou out, Mancio in" people already after 1 lost and 1 draw 45 minutes friendly matches. Amazing.

See, its all about fucking patience. this is what i despise about this forum - the extremism. One bad game = he's the worst manager ever. One good game = contract 4 lief!!!
