Nice, hope he wins it.
?I hope he wins but this was really some anti advertising for Italian football.
I don't consider winning conference league an "achievement" tbh. It's a horrible tournament with barely any legit team. Winning EL will be his first considerable trophy with Roma imo.
If anything, this is the best thing UEFA has done after all the damage it caused to European football in the last 15 or so years.I don't consider winning conference league an "achievement" tbh. Have you looked at the finalists? If anything, this is the best thing UEFA has done after all the damage it caused to European football in the last 15 or so years.
Teams and their fans from Europe have a tournament to look forward to that isn't always dictated by who has the biggest wallet.
Of course. This can't be stopped.Have you looked at the finalists?
Exactly how Sevilla won their EL trophy against us. I can imagine they'll try the same shit again, so them and Roma will roll around the field for 90 (+30?) minutes togetherIt reminds me of the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
One shot on goal, two buses parked and a lot of whining of "hurt" players.
totally agree with, Brehme. Football is not always about major the trophy and massive amount of money. i believe UEFA have made very good decision. equal opportunity to medium and small clubs are essential for the development of football both in technical aspect and non-technical aspect. we can expect new talents appear or self-reforming of small clubs so they can still be in ECL . i can only imagine the joy and euphoria of the fans when they reach further stages of ECL or win the cup. writing new history for the clubs on European stage is a real pride to be honest. If anything, this is the best thing UEFA has done after all the damage it caused to European football in the last 15 or so years.

Is it though? Roma in it s fucken almost 100 years history has won a grand total of 3 scudetti / 9 coppas / 2 supper coppas/ 1 conference league and 1 inter city fairs cup(what ever the fuck that is)Like it's not about the money for the UEFA. And that ECL is nice for clubs like Lech Posen or Basel, but when a club like Roma celebrates that title like it's the Champions League it's kinda awkward.
that's the Uefa Cup1 inter city fairs cup(what ever the fuck that is)
I disagree. I hate to discredit teams in Conference league, it's full of professional players, Mou just showed that he still has certain tricks up his sleeve to give Roma the edge.I don't consider winning conference league an "achievement" tbh. Yeah, this is a good shout.I disagree. I hate to discredit teams in Conference league, it's full of professional players, Mou just showed that he still has certain tricks up his sleeve to give Roma the edge.
It's not like last seasons Roma wasn't full of internal strife and mostly average players. Now they have Dybala to make them too good for Conference league IMO. They deserve to be in the EL final, but they are far from a long run in CL type of team. We'll see how they manage transfers this summer
€136 million according to transfer marketdoes anyone know how much mourinho has net spent at Roma?
Thats gross..€136 million according to transfer market
