Hmm I doubt Inzaghe has much power on decision, if goalkeeper is great, he will stay for long time, not like manager. The team must rate Martinez at least nearly having same level as Bento and that ball play ability plus price/payment structure makes him top choice.

He seems quite comfortable coming off his line and doing the “‘sweeper keeper” thing. Some people may get heart attacks whenever the see the goalie outside the box— and I get it, but I support it when it’s done judiciously. If the goalkeeper backs themselves to deny a potential goal scoring opportunity before it manifests, it can be the difference maker in the match. In any case, you have to be very brave and decisive to play like this. Basically once you choose to make the intervention, there is no arriving second to the ball. And it seems like Martinez comes out with authority, which is a good thing as long as he reads the game correctly.
