Defensively ok, his run and speed amazing especially when he got to that pass in the first half where he had no business getting to. Other than that his crossing not hing much but maybe that could change. The best thing about him there is that Vidic and Rano looked solid in center

He didn't always play as LB and even if he did, that was like what? 4 years ago? When he was 18?

For the past few years he's been playing here as LCB and that's his position!

He looked exactly like what I would expect a CB to look like at LB. Our attacks from from his side were more often than not halted by his lack of attacking ability.

I'm fine with continuing the Juan at leftback experiment for another couple of games to see if he progresses. I think Rano - Vidic is a much more secure partnership for the time being and I'd like to see that continue. We don't have to play with two fullbacks capable of overlapping, many teams don't. IMO we still created enough yesterday without the attacking presence Santon or Dodo would have provided, we just weren't clinical.

For a team with financial problems like Inter that is sound reasoning. That is money that could go towards actually improving the squad, maybe you don't need to be selling primavera players to fund a 5m euro move.

Perhaps, you guys are forgetting the fixtures we had since RM was appointed, IIRC mid November.

Milan (A), Roma (A), Lazio (H), Juve (A), Torino (A), Fiorentina (H), Napoli (A), Samp (A)... 8 tough ones out of 17 league matches, in addition to that we advanced in the Cup and EL, meaning we played versus better teams, especially for EL the midweek fixture surely fucked some of our performances a tad.

WM had 11 Serie A matches and the biggest names were Torino (A), Samp (H) and Fiorentina (A) and the likes of Qarabag in EL.
