Chiellini should be suspended for the punch he gave Zlatan right when he fouled him. I hope video replay isn't only used against Inter players, that should have been at least a yellow card. Not sure what happened at the end, but I think Chiellini tried to make peace with Zlatan, but he got shoved.

I hope he could get banned but I doubt it's gonna.

Great to see how they celebrated their undeserved draw – we shall hammer them in Meazza. Although I believe by then they are a few more points behind us.

common J zanetti, I thought you were a big boy to understand this. They are just little children who just got to Serie A and earning a draw against the champion team of Italy would obviously fill them with tears of joy.;)

Good match yesterday. Although I don't have any idea what Cesar is doing in the team. That's a comment made by first match since weeks, but he really sucked yesterday.

Thumbs up to juve, when defending Julio Cesar in time-wasting situation. Really good behaviour.

Wait, Benitez's name is being thrown around here?

And as for Mourinho sure, he's a great coach but why are you guys overlooking the fact that he did NOT won the EPL last season? You'd probably blame it on Chelsea's injuries, but take a look at our own injury list currently. Remember how Chelsea started this season as well? Mancini's Inter is at the top of Serie A; Mourinho's Chelsea was languishing at mid-table.

I don't wanna turn this into a Mancini v Mourinho debate but neither of them is perfect. It is only fair that you look at both coaches' pros and cons instead of concentrating at Mancini's weakness and Mourinho's strengths.

My 'affection' for Mourinho is because of his categoric preparations for any game, more than anything.
Scouting dossiers on the entire team - every player gets a dossier on the player he's up against, they all get dossiers on the key players/ in form players... They spend all week developing tactics JUST to combat that one team's weaknesses.
As crespo said against Fenerbache recently... 'I don't know much about them, except they have Roberto Carlos and Alex'...
I mean, wtf?

We're fighting for Champions League points off this other team and you dont even know anything about them? It's not a god damn friendly.
My affection for Benitez is, despite his poor league form, due to his ability in the champions league. He turned what is, really, a very average Liverpool side into european champions against much stronger teams, where he tactically outsmarted them by neutralizing their key strengths (e.g. against Barcelona just last season), and not only that, but he did it two years in three.
If nothing else, that deserves great respect.

I don't think if Benitez came (not that I seriously suggest he will) we'd do much better in the league, but I'm fairly confident we'd do a bit better in the champions league, and ultimately, he would encourage the sort of signings that would result in our possible success, e.g. a more attacking midfielder, say Diego, or Quaresma (Who he's a big fan of)...

Mourinho would be entertaining as the Inter coach - I'd be looking forward to his press comments more than the actual games, haha.

 Did you watch the game? Suazo's functionality was fully and truly exposed this game, just look at the way he threatened the opponent, who wanted to push up but feared Suazo.

You simply chose the wrong time to criticize Suazo:lol: .

As for Mancini vs Mourinho, I'm happy with the work Mancini has done thus far, changing coach now would be seriously the dumbest thing to do to unstablize our squad.

Since when did threatening an opponent count for points? Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I thought strikers were on the field to score goals. Suazo can threaten all he likes but all his threatening play does not count for shit if he does not score for us. Similar to the way your post does not count for shit.

Your previous post:
Puma said:
but I do believe that Suazo is struggling and appears to lack confidence at Inter. Perhaps our expectations are simply too high but what I would like to say that an angry, hungry, determined Adriano with a point to prove may be better than a place assured David Suazo.

Rofl, digressing are we?

Struggling and appears to lack confidence at Inter, I reputed that with a suggestion that Suazo threatened the opponent, which logically refutes your suggestion of "struggling" and "appears to lack confidence". Afterall, how can a player "struggle", and "appears to lack confidence" cause any sort of threat to our opponent? The two things contradict each other, and hence Suazo shouldn't be replaced by Adriano.

I'm definitely not going into the Adriano argument again.

And before calling my post "shit", think about what I said, I don't like repeating myself.

Exactly, Cesar just run around and did more bad than good!! We have to find someone much better than him if we gonna have a chans to win Champions League!!

And you all can't blame Ibra for a bad match whit all the pressure he got on his shoulders yesterday! For just a year or somthing ago he would have given Chiellini back!! Now he's a much more calm person, and that's all due to Mancini!!

Cesar sucks, full stop.
I never liked him, and he just yesterday showed why...he would be fine for a back-up winger, but he is not a first-teamer, we must get a new winger, quaresma possibly. Next year we will have to buy another winger to replace Figo, it will be much harder to get two wingers.
The rest of them played well, i don't blame Ibra, though he SHOULD have scored one of the two chances he had, he mustn't miss such chances if he is to win the golden ball or whatever it is that he is being talked about.

But all in all, the team played great, and i loved the game, too bad we got unlucky, and couldn't score one of the chances...Suazo is Martins, can only run, maybe dribble there and here, but he doesn't have a football brain.

Cambiasso and Zanetti ran like 250km yesterday...especially in the 2nd half they were dominant. Samuel would be the best player on the field for saving our ass, if it were not for him we would've conceded at least 2 goals.

Zlatan the worst on the field followed by Cesar.

I was kinda furious with our coach for going so defensive. We could have brought Maxwell instead of Burdisso. With 4 central defenders playing in the back 4, it affected our offence alot. Anywaz, I hope he doesn't go that defensive later on. Injuries also didn't do us any good in this game.

:)

Thanks for 'saying' what is was thinking :D

The macth of the Inter was good, but just need a little more to motivation for "kill" to juve...the worst is the situation to Figo, is time to jimenez or bolzoni...

Not the result any of us wanted but it'll do I suppose. I'm rather disappointed in Mancio once again for his lack of balls. Rubentus really took the game to us in the 1st half and it only got slightly better in the 2nd half. I really cannot, for the life of me, understand the reason for bringing on Nico for Figo. Burdisso is not a ****ing midfielder for **** sakes!!!! I love him as a player but he already brings down a sub-par midfield in the first place, especially with Figo being the one replaced.

Ibra seemed to be trying to hard when he did have the ball.... which was rare. Maybe Moratti will realize that he can't do it week in and week out and get him some farking help.

Oh well, we'll have to get them back at the Meazza.

Annoyed we didn't get the 3 points when we really should have (it could of easily been 2-0 or 3-0 if we had finished some of our chances) but I guess a point away from home is ok. Thanks to Chielleni for reminding me why I hate Juve so much, with their time in Serie B I was almost beginning to forget they were even worthy of existence, but Chielleni reminded me of what a bunch of arrogant, thuggish pricks they are.

Not many options left in midfield and I don't believe Dacourt is 100% fit. With CSKA game coming up I wouldn't blame Mancio if he wanted to save him.
A win against CSKA would almost guarantee qualification, save us from the media scrutiny and pressure of "what if we don't qualify" and give us a chance to rest some players with some big games coming up in the scudetto leading into Christmas.

Really we were two inches away from embarrassing JuBe Cambiasso's off side and Buffon's save on Suazo. Shame we could have done more particular with some wasted forward plays due to lack of attention to the off side trap but there is plenty of time to humiliate JuBe. :D
