i saw two great differences in this first half:

1) rubentus has a solid defense, while we have only shit defenders...

2) rubentus has a lot of top players (tevez, vidal, pogba), while we haven't...

mazzarri plays 3 at the back and would've started with 2 forwards instead of the christmas tree with icardi stellina shinning at the top.

What does it matter? we'd still look as pathetic and passionless as we are today..

I'm far from a Mancini believer but you can't fault him here tbh. Far too many limited players on the pitch for Inter, both wingbacks are beyond useless, CB's are shaky, Guarin, Kuzmanović and Hernanes offer very little and simply can't cope with their midfield. Icard can't do anything with the ball at his feet.

I've seen some solid tactial ideas in this match by Mancini but far too many limited player to execute it.

Inter is still a team that should be able to put the fight for the third spot even with these players(counting the ones missing like Palacio and Osvaldo) but the quality gap to Juventus is huge. What really hurts is the fact that we could've had some of their best players.

Our pressing has no rhyme or reason to it. At one point Juve's CBs were holding the ball, then four of our five midfielders flew forward to press Juve's defenders, leaving Medel by himself in front of our defense. Then Juve simply chipped the ball forward, with all of their midfielders surrounding the empty space around the stranded Medel.

Playing five midfielders in the center is useless if you're going to let the midfield get bypassed so easily.

Put D'Ambro as RB, put Jesus as LB and replace Campa with Andreolli.

Replace Guarin with Osvaldo or Podolski. Play 4-3-1-2. Also M'Vila in for Kuz.

Don't think we've been total shit, just the gap in quality has been clear. There's been a few nice moments going forward with Hernanes, Kova and D'Ambrosio.

Would be good if we could string a few passes together in midfield though - it's almost as if we have 2 players playing who everyone agrees are total shit

What a pathetic display from our side (except for around 10 minutes, when I thought it was Juve who relaxed a bit). We should had been down by 2/3 goals, instead we have been lucky only to concede one until now. Juventus is looking like a big brother, totally dominating us whenever they have wanted to. We are making so many careless mistakes. Makes so sense to play the duo of Kuzmanovic and Medel. We definitely need a two way strong midfielder in this Winter Mercato, if we are to go for the 3rd spot.

Juventus midfield is all over us, not to forget Tevez as well. The quality in their team is so crystal clear.

I hope Inter changes a lot for good in the second half and yeah, I am tired of us playing with only Icardi as a lone striker (not with that kinda line-up).

Maybe bring in Osvaldo for Guarin and switch to a 4-3-1-2.

I knew that we will be fuckingly raped if kuzman and guarin start in this match. In fact kuzmanovic is one of the most pointless cmf i've ever seen. We are lacking good possession, we need midfielders who can mark, tackle ,fight for the ball and gain possession, khrin is an option. Our attack is low also and it should be increased.
