Play him in the right position and he has a bigger chance of flourishing in forward passes (except long balls that he already does)

It doesn't mean it will work, but how he plays for his NT is QUITE DIFFERENT, so there has to be something there

The logic is that his skills could suit better on different slot. Brozovic was tested as AM and CM, before to find his perfect position.
For me it's better to try Asllani as mezzala before to sell him, and potentially regret after that

I blame Inzaghi for playing him out of position. In my eyes he could be a good Mkhitaryan's backup, he has all the skillset. I don't want to give up on him yet, we might regret if we sold him to Roma, Fiorentina or Atalanta. I really want to see him playing Mkhi's role tbh.

I don't even think it's healthy to play him at this point. He must be going through a lot psychologically, so I doubt he's able to overcome this moment at his age/experience. The hate he gets is incredible, and it's not even entirely his own fault. But then again, it's not even surprising. The very same fanbase will throw their captain under the bus because he's "not good enough" and "disappears when it matters".

It would be nice if he gets sold for a good price, so our management can find a decent backup for Hakan.

I don't expect him to play like Mkhi, because there is certain nuance that Asllani still lacks. I would play him there to see what else he can offer, but he just feels like a player that will forever be a bench player

If we compare with somebody else we had at Inter, Kovačić was younger but looked a lot better than Asllani, no matter the position he was put in. Kova also cost pretty much the same amount as Asllani. So obviously a lot of us are expecting more than fake youngster playing like a youngster

He is a professional player and he has been given a chance at the highest level. Obviously Inzaghi saw something in him to trust him enough to push him into that position at his age. He failed to deliver. Simple as.
Also if you cant handle the mental ups and downs you have no business in a professional sport.
You get criticised and scrutinized non stop if you fail to deliver. Bigger expectation bigger scrutiny. You cant hack it you get sold or trashed. Thats why up and coming players with potential get a way better chance to develop at lower clubs as opposed to fading into mediocrity at top clubs.
Bottom line is he fails to deliver what is asked from him by the coach. You can argue as much as you want who is (more) right or wrong, at the end of the day you are left with results and stats.

I guess some Inter directors had same mentality as you when we lost Pirlo, Couthino etc.
