You keep saying you are objective and still keep finding excuses after excuses.
He is a professional player and he has been given a chance at the highest level. Obviously Inzaghi saw something in him to trust him enough to push him into that position at his age. He failed to deliver. Simple as.
Also if you cant handle the mental ups and downs you have no business in a professional sport.
You get criticised and scrutinized non stop if you fail to deliver. Bigger expectation bigger scrutiny. You cant hack it you get sold or trashed. Thats why up and coming players with potential get a way better chance to develop at lower clubs as opposed to fading into mediocrity at top clubs.
Bottom line is he fails to deliver what is asked from him by the coach. You can argue as much as you want who is (more) right or wrong, at the end of the day you are left with results and stats.
What excuses mate? I've already said he's not good enough for this Inter. But you guys are quick to jump into conclusions without even taking proper matters into consideration. Didn't you said you were a professional football player at some point?
Do you even realize how confidence pays a huge role in players psychological aspect? Even greater players are failing miserably when they're in short of confidence. Of course Asllani has to blame himself for most of it, but at the same time, it's not completely his own fault that he's not able to be productive. Going from Hakan to Asllani is a massive downgrade, that's crystal clear, but the issues of the team are wide clear as well. We're quite fragile mentally, that no matter who's in the pitch, we tend to crumble at some particular situations.
I'm really hoping he leaves soon. It's the best for both Inter and him. I also agree that he hasn't made any real progression over these three years he's been here. He's playing in a very delicate position that requires experience and confidence, and unfortunately Asllani lacks both. He's not a bad player of course, but he's also not a proper backup for Hakan either. Given standards of our regista, it's going to be very difficult to find a reliable backup for that spot.
There are players whom arrived at Inter with a greater expectation and they couldn't live to their hype, but they don't get as much criticism as Asllani does. Fine, he's not good enough, that has been said many times, but scapegoating him for literally everything it's just a pure ignorance.
