Might have been his best game with us....As you said not sure hell ever be good enough to be that primary regista for us but he has shown sparks and i keep on forgetting that he s only turning 23 in 3 days....

He played yesterday better than Hakan in any game after he returned from injury. I still dont know is it cause we played injury plagued Feyenoord or cause he is finally stepping up. We'll see.

I think I said it long ago, that he will play the best with Barella and Zielinski; Mkhitaryan & Frattesi ain't exactly good for him in general, cause he simply cannot create space by himself, which means he needs other to provide passing options or keep rotating(off ball time) to create the space.

Basically if you have some normal CMF (even with Gags )or box to box players to play with him, he will perform well including his off ball movements, cause he cannot be the sole ball receiving point due to his physical limitations, and he won't get stuck with the ball.

Not saying he is the same caliber as Pirlo, but a lot of similarities, that if you don't have players helping him or play around him, he is a lot easier to shut off.

Still I think he is a natural final third player, but he shows he can play regista with the right setup.

Good thing is he is working hard to reward Inzaghi's trust.
