I think a lot of you are struggling to understand Italian culture. If you had a conversation with my grandparents about these matters, you would think they're racist. I know in my heart they're good people. They're not inherently evil or anything absurd like that, but its the values that were instilled in them in the 1950s in Italy differ from those we have today. And truthfully, I've given up trying to explain these things to them. I accept them for who they are and go with it.
I'm not saying this is the right approach by any means. These Ultras aren't 75 years old. But for those of you asking why our club hasn't made a statement, or why Italian football hasn't taken a serious effort to correct the blatant racism that exists in the sport, I'm of the belief the answer is because they truly don't care, or think they're doing anything overly wrong.
But Inter is a worldwide known club, founded on the base of accepting people from all over the world. That's not an excuse, and if that's the reason, they're incredibly classless and out of touch.
