Should the Curva Nord and the entire stadium stop jeering teams when they are attacking us? The opposition may take it as a sign of violent intent and we must respect their individuality.

Okay, we have some stupid fans but don't take it to the next level guys. Take your personal sensitivities out of football and don't extrapolate shit just to showcase the stupidity of some CN members. We all know them.

A cousin of mine was one of the main guys in an Ultras group. They went to every away game that were allowed, and not only football, but every other sport that team had a team in (you get my point)...

Long story short (btw he has some hilarious stories): once a young fan that was the little brother of one of the guys from the other teams ultras happen to die inside the car, he had let the car on because it was cold and choked in the garage, pretty messed up story. I'm writing this on the go, so might miss some points. So, when it was time for the funeral, the leaders of my cousins Ultras called them, asked for permission to be in the funeral, showed the greatest forms of respect... Against other teams they chanted his name, held few banners etc...

BUT, when they played against the team of the dead kid, they completely changed. Making coughing sounds, making car sounds, stupid offending banners, burned the kids picture, etc...

So up to a point, I kinda try to understand our curva... I'm trying but I can't just accept it....

With all the tech today, with all the vars and shit, all the ultra HD cameras and everything... Fans that make racist actions should be banned for life.

But I think there should be the line drawn. Stop only racism, not everything else.

If we stop everything, it will become tennis... And then stadiums will close and we will get to watch from home.. :D

It's actually quite impressive. To turn the club of the racially abused player into an international disgrace.

Fuck these guys. They're the scum of the earth.

This is breathtakingly ignorant, I am sorry. Jeer all you want, but don't be racist. You're trying to act like there is some ambiguity or 'slippery slope' when there isn't. Just don't be racist. Nearly everyone understands there is a line there. Booing, heckling, yelling, screaming are all fine, but don't make racist or bigoted taunts.

Racism is reprehensible under any circumstance.

But..

In football I think it's more than that - it's also stupid.

A game of football is one of the few arenas where you ARE allowed, and even presumed, to dislike people because of the colour of their ... shirts.

That strawman is just about the most unintelligent thing you've managed to utter.

You have to be a massive fucking cunt to keep looking for ways to defend racists.

But then again the Fragile One begging mods to stop people from hurting his feelings, happily wears that crown.

I was replying to the post above mine, suggesting that whenever our fans chant "juventino pezzo di merda" they intent to meet people outside and beat them up.
There's no strawman from my side, in fact I was just responding to it:

Their Logic: monkey chants = its just a game and sign of respect/fear
Also their logic: juventinu di merda = I will meet you outside and fuck you up.

So according to his logical jumps, fans jeering opposing players regardless of background probably show intentions of violence towards them.

How are you comparing racism with jeering? Are you actually serious?

This guy keeps getting more and more deluded with every post he writes.

Brehme has completely lost the fucking plot.

the silence from Inter is deafening.

I've never had my loyalty to the club tested before in any serious way - sat through all the dark years, the Mancini resignation farce, Thohir, loads of shit.

This right now though, makes me wonder what I'm supporting.

Are you equating booing and whistling a team to making literal monkey sounds. The thing fair skin people compare melanated people to based of their skin tone? Cmon you can’t be serious

The reality of the situation is me and most people here are foreign supporters or followers, if the Italian population and the Inter fans there and those who grew up with the club since the 50-60s etc have an indifferent approach and don't see the big deal it wont matter what most media say or others outside the country say.

So much for "Internazionale" Milano.

It's humilating really. We all had a laugh and also ridiculed Bonucci and Juventus to death last season after the Kean accident, and all that's happened now that we had one of our own subjected to the same abuses from the same fans is have our most visible fan club fail to properly back one of their own players, justify blatant racism, and see the club - the same club that made so sure to show their moral dignity with the #BUU campaign last year and taking the stadium ban in stride - is doing nothing to condemn the actions from the Curva Nord now that they're at it again.

We don't know who amongst the Curva Nord wrote and facilitated the publishing of this message, but if you're part of the Curva then you allow yourself to be subject to whatever happens to them by association. This club really should ban the Curva for a couple of games - leave those seats unsold - and enforce stricter punishment for each succeeding offense, something that these skinheads surely won't fail to commit.

That this club has allowed itself to become the bigger target of ridicule following one of their own players being racially abused is well and truly humiliating.

They will probably publish an statement, but it will be already too late. I've been begging for the club to say something about the matter different than "BUU". Needless to say I'm disappointed as you are regarding their silence.

I think a lot of you are struggling to understand Italian culture. If you had a conversation with my grandparents about these matters, you would think they're racist. I know in my heart they're good people. They're not inherently evil or anything absurd like that, but its the values that were instilled in them in the 1950s in Italy differ from those we have today. And truthfully, I've given up trying to explain these things to them. I accept them for who they are and go with it.

I'm not saying this is the right approach by any means. These Ultras aren't 75 years old. But for those of you asking why our club hasn't made a statement, or why Italian football hasn't taken a serious effort to correct the blatant racism that exists in the sport, I'm of the belief the answer is because they truly don't care, or think they're doing anything overly wrong.
