If he shows continuity, he might be worth between 60-70 mil by season's end, which is Icardi value. 200 mil is insane, but for argument's sake, whoever offers that would have no resistance from Inter.
Why would Inter sell their best player for 70m when there are stubborn coches who would buy useless players past their prime for 80+m? Inter should never even think about selling any of its main players for less than 110m

Satisfied with his performances and effectiveness lately. The most important is he keeps scoring, same like Lukaku. Still needs to improve his passing because his role requires him to do a lot of that.
This guy is my fav current player by a huge margin. Hope we can hold on for at least another full season after this. I can see him become World fucking Class by the end of the season already.
Right up to and including the Samp match one month ago, he was rightfully copping a lot of criticism. Since then he's been infinitely better in the way he plays. He's drifting wide, making a lot more runs, having the ball played to his feet and into space, and it's bringing out better performances in him when he/we play in this manner.
However, I was watching through some highlights and I think I'd prefer Lukaku or someone else to take penalties. Lautaro is too tactless at the moment.
If I'm not mistaken, he's taken 5 penalties for us so far:
1. vs Milan last season, 2-3 derby victory / went left, scored ✓
2. vs Lazio last season, Coppa Italia match penalty shootout / went left, saved X
3. vs juve in the 1-2 home loss last month / went left, scored ✓
4. vs Sassuolo in the 3-4 victory a week later / went right, scored ✓
5. vs Dortmund in the 2-0 victory last week / went left, saved X
He's gone left 4 times out of 5. His best penalty IMO was against juve. Hard, low and into the bottom corner. The other 3 times he's gone left have been identical - way too central and at a perfect comfortable height for the GK.
As much as I hate Jorginho's dipshit jumping penalty, there is a method to it. He watches the keeper and tries to trick him with the jump, then sends the penalty the other way. There's a reason he's scored 15/16 penalties in his career. Lautaro does not watch the keeper at any point. He has his eyes down on the ball, picks his spot and blasts it. It's too simplistic and unless you're blasting it into the corner where it's unreachable, like Ibrahimovic does, it's not reliable enough.
I know I'm massively nitpicking but he needs to improve in this regard because 3 out 5 is pretty shit tbh..

And actually an unpopular opinion would be Candreva. I get him not hitting them over Icardi, but since he's not here and Candreva is a regular with us, it feels off that he didn't become the designated pk taker.
Sensi used to take penalties when he was at Cesena. Barella too, at Cagliari. Though I remember him skying a penalty against us (possibly deliberately).
Essentially, if Lautaro is to continue as one of the penalty takers, he needs to improve on it during training and develop a method beyond "pick a side and shoot".
Someone mentioned Skriniar, but let's not create some Sergio Ramos-like illusion over him.
Yeah I’d trust De Vrij over Skriniar if any of our CBs are taking penalties. But Lautaro definitely needs to improve, I’m never confident with him standing over it, whereas I was with Icardi (until February) and I am with Lukaku now.
Brozovic, Sensi and Candreva are good candidates I think.
