Honestly started feeling a little sorry for him today. What are you supposed to do as a striker if the move breaks down every time the ball gets to your striker partner? I mean do you run in behind? Do you come short? Does it really matter?

Lautaro deserves criticism for his finishing this season but he has essentially been playing upfront alone every time he’s paired with Dzeko. How is he supposed to keep momentum? Now he hasn’t scored for two games in a row and he will probably go on another streak but we can’t create a chance through link up play currently because we’ve played a 36 year old 2,794 minutes this season!
