Funny because I have the feeling this season is his most inconsistent season with us. Especially because he is a bit older and more experienced.

Big change of having Hakimi and Lukaku taking on defenders to having to control the front line yourself

I just don’t think he is worth his wages. Should be scoring more especially since he is our main guy now. Also seems to always score a goal when we are already winning

Not that I want him gone but a crazy 70+ million offer comes and he is in the epl next season.

Last season Lautaro was worse than this season. He did just slightly better, the biggest problem were his CL performances

Lautaro has always been inconsistent. It's just in the previous years people blamed it on Barcelona's interest or contract situation (this season we blame it, myself included, on partnership with Dzeko) but the reality is Lautaro has always had periods when he was very hot and periods when he was very cold throughout the same season. The only difference is his cold period lasted more this season and that's why people have the impression he has been more inconsistent than usual. And tbh it isn't unheard of for someone of his age to be inconsistent. We tend to forget he hasn't turned 25 yet.

I understand people frustration with Lautaro. But we should also remember he's someone who can consistently give 15-20 goals per season and he's usually injury free. Is he good enough to lead our attack? No. But unless there are financial reasons involved, i wouldn't sell him simply because i don't think we can afford an upgrade and i fear his replacement would be even worse.

For all the doubting he receives regarding his ability to lead the attack at Inter, Lautaro is still a more tried and tested player than Vlahovic at the top level.

In comparison to Vlahovic, who many here regard as the archetypal striker to lead a team’s attacking line.

Lautaro is punching above his weight, considering he lacks the natural attributes of Vlahovic.

Also, I don’t buy into the archetypal striker argument because many top strikers were not known for their natural ability(pace/power).

Currently, we are all witnessing Benzema, who was never known for his pace or power, leading Real Madrid’s attacking line since at least 2018.

Yeah this is important. If we sell Lautaro for 70m€, can we get a better player for the same money this summer? Can we even spend that money on the replacement? (answer is no). If someone pays 70m€ we can't expect to replace him with a better player since the buyer would go for that better player then instead.

Things other than pure player quality which must be taken into account:

- experience on Serie A. Pet peeve of Il Drago I know but IMO with strikers this is specially important and relevant
- big club experience and constant responsibility to be a starter in such a club
- ability to understand what the coach demands from you and execute accordingly

Biasin says that we'll sell Lautaro, only if big offer comes. Which, I believe means 90+mln.

I always said with Dzeko no striker can play good
Lautaro is not the problem

Only Lemone cant see this.. with his Dzeko fetish
I always said and i will ... Dzeko is just pure shit
He would make even prime Messi shit playing alongside him
Its just mindblowing reading some posts of you guys bashing Lautaro for playing shit.. i still cant believe that you thought Dzeko was okey

Things do not always stay the same.

First half of the year, Dzeko was playing better than Lautaro. That is no longer true. Dzeko WAS ok. We would not be in contention for the scudetto without him.

I do not see Lautaro playing this well consistently, if we get a high offer this summer, I'd take it in a heartbeat.

He has this special thing about him that everytime he has a good match people want to keep him and everytime he has a bad match people want to sell him.

well at 24 I dont know any players who were finished products. When you look at our team who on it has something speical about them. Skriniar and Brozo maybe Barellas engine, thats about it.

19 Serie A goals and two matches to go.
19 goals in 2127 minutes.

Last season 17 in 2576 minutes.

180 minutes left so he will for sure have more goals in less minutes than last season.

Said that when he was struggling, can say again...he should be untouchable unless we get some batshit crazy offer. He will be only 25 next season. Some of our key players today were nowhere near their level from this season when they were 24 (Brozović,Perišić...) Also if you really wanna sell him for some weird reason, selling him before WC where he will be one of the key players for Argentina is just beyond stupid.
