tbh, we go through this every season. Sometimes he hits an amazing vein of form, and then sometimes he's shit for 2-3 months on the trot. We can live with him being shit if we've got other players to compensate for him, and I would agree with the comments that he's really developed since being made captain, but at the same time, he's not exactly moved past being extremely inconsistent in the last 5 seasons as well. His domestic goals would be challenging to replace, but his european goals are still pretty non-existent.

I wouldnt really want to sell him atm, but there is probably a price.

What I'm looking at is more his 5 goals in 26 CL games in the last 3 seasons. Until the latter stages this season, his record was in fact 3 in 22, which is just shocking for a striker.

Lautaro just can't win. Some people will always want him out it seems.

Achieving 28 goals 11 assists while not playing a pure poacher role and despite playing most of the season with an ankle injury is nuts, he is still in constant evolution every season and shows that he is still hungry for more, we're lucky to have him.
